Nice Outdoor Camera w/o power outlet
I like this camera, especially since I had to locate it away from an outlet. Quality of the item is great and it is well made. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it really needs an Optical zoom instead of Digital zoom...because the picture gets increasingly worse as you zoom in. You can, however, see and make out objects and items at normal distance without zooming in. The power remains constant with the solar power and it works very well for the price paid.

Good camera but battery life is kinda short
It works great for what I need it but the battery does not last for months like advertised. I have to recharge it about every 3 weeks.

Decent camera, especially for the price plus good
The first time we purchased this, the night vision didn’t work correctly. We returned it and got a replacement the next day. I contacted Amcrest support and got a prompt and helpful reply. After determining the first one was defective support told me to return it. The new one works great. I like how you can adjust the brightness of the IR lights to get a better image when night vision is active.

Good high quality security camera at an affordable
Does the job! Simple and so easy to install. Love the feature that you can quickly move it around. The down side is the scheduling of alarm notification periods requires one set time periods in the week. (ps-I dropped the camera 10ft onto cement when first installing and it worked!) Whew!

Perfect if you need a non-internet camera!!
I searched the world over for a camera that didn't require internet and this is it!!! It does everything I need it to do! I love the instant playback without having to use a different device. LCD screen is clear and sharp. My ONLY complaint is the coverage area. It says 120° but it seems less to me. Also I wish it came with a way to lock it to wherever it's posted so it couldn't be stolen. Otherwise, I'm buying 2-3 more to cover my entire home!!!

Used camera with someone else's images on it
.Just received a new replacement camera wrapped and unopened. Will be setting it up today and hoping to have so.e great pictures soon. Appreciate that the company reached out to settle my complaint. Good customer service so I am amending my original review!!!! Well just set this up and used it and went to look at the pics( we placed in the woods) and low and behold the pics are beautiful.. wonderful scenes of snow filled mountains. That would be great except it's 91 degrees today and has-been and I don't appreciate getting someone's second hand camera. Not happy AT ALL. !!!

Nice little camera with fantastic picture quality
I use this to watch my dogs when we aren't around (and sometimes even when I AM around, but too lazy to get up and see what they're doing. I just watch via my phone or on my laptop :)). The video quality is crystal clear and I love that I can pan and zoom in to see what the little boogers are up to.
