Why should I spend $400 for a Gopro when I can use the Akaso EK7000? It does everything the Gopro does for a lot less cost. I'm using is while on vacation in Vietnam where it is raining every day and it stays nice and dry and gives me high quality videos while riding around town on a motorbike. I like the versatile mounting options like for the bike handlebars or on your helmet. There's also an extra battery to give you a lot more video time. I got the Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB SSD card from Amazon as well and have no problems with this setup. I also mount it on my backpack strap and take walking videos using the wrist remote which is very convenient. Nothing to complain about so far and will post more if I find anything negative to report, but so far so good.

Purchased this little guy for my Thailand trip. Took it snorkeling, gave it some time in the sea.I have an advanced photography background and am quite picky so take that into consideration when reading my review.Overall I recommend the GoPro Hero Session with one caveat -- for the price.Do you prioritize stealth and portability? Then buy this over the typical GoPros. Image quality in photo mode will be about the same (This guy has taken some pretty nice looking images I must admit) It's black so you don't look like your typical GoPro user and it's not so quite obvious you're being a tourist. Less of a target, in my opinion.The video quality is quite good and colorful and sharp. You'll see reviews sort of bash this GoPro compared to the larger silver or black and they're right, those GoPros do edge out the session in quality but only while viewing full size on a large screen. For YouTube and your computer, you won't notice a difference.This does not need a case to be waterproofed. Very cool feature about it. So its footprint is tiny.The battery life is just OK but the cool thing is you can charge it via USB. No need to pull out a clunky battery and charger and put it in the wall. You get used to it, but it's frustrating.Overall I thought about trading it for the bigger GoPro but the session has its own charm about it.

I particularly like the under water function as well as being able to mount it on a motorcycle. Not real happy that it won't zoom, but I knew that when I bought it.

I’m amazed how great this camera is for such a low price. Arrived a day ahead of schedule. Very easy to unbox and set up. The quick reference guide and online user manual are easy to follow. The touch screen controls are very intuitive. I was shooting video and snapping pictures with 15 minutes. Picture quality is fantastic. Downloading to iPhone and/or iPad also super easy. The included accessories all attached and fit securely. I’m taking it on vacation for a week in Puerto Rico. Can wait to see how it does around the island and in the ocean.

All possible scenarios hooks, adapters, screws, straps, mounts including suctions one, extension arms & handles included in the bundle- The 3-way adjustable arm is a unique one and would be useful for many situations- They even include dive filters (3 quantities) & anti-fog inserts (12 pieces)- Addition of a carrying case is highly appreciated as it gets easy to organize & manage when plenty of accessories are there. It is a hard case & great build quality- Very reasonably priced kit for the features and capability it offersCons:- None that we see for this price & the quality

So small, so great. Love it so far. Took video of my granddaughter's ice skating musical. They turned out great for this first time user. I expect to get better with the settings and direction of movements. I have only used one of the accessories and it came with many straps and mounts, as well as the water proof case. I would recommend this to a friend, especially if you don't want to invest a lot of money in an action camera.

This product is exactly what I wanted. I bought this camera with the intention of using it for a relay race and recording the various legs. It is very easy to use, simple one button start, and great video quality. I definitely recommend using this product with the GoPro app, it increases the user friendliness of the product. This camera might almost be too simple, however. It can be very confusing when trying to figure out how to load the pictures and footage onto the computer. As advertised, it is 100% waterproof (at least in the rain) and battery life is not bad. Overall very good product! Price can't be beat. You get more than what you pay for.

WOW! We bought this for our 14 year old thinking it was going to be just a cheap little sports camera for her to play around with... we were wrong. This thing is amazing. So many positives! Excellent stabilization. Excellent picture quality. Excellent product for price. We purchased the accessory package and it came with so many great items. HAPPY all around.
