I’m impressed. I bought this to record off-road videos on my Jeep. The picture is actually as good as my GoPro. I feel very comfortable putting this in places where it may get damaged such as under vehicle shots for unique angles instead of risking a $300 GoPro. I can mount 6 of these cameras on my Jeep for that price and never miss an angle!

I now have four of these cameras inside my home and garage. I am able to look at my home when I am traveling. I also have motion detection emails sent to my gmail account with a series of five photos. The setup can be challenging, but Amcrest has great customer service to help you troubleshoot issues.

 Great features: This monitor has great sound quality! It also has a large screen monitor and I like the zoom feature as well. It comes with 2 cameras and you can purchase additional cameras to add. The picture is very clear during the day and I was SO very impressed with how clear the picture is at night!If you press the “scan,” button the monitor rotates back and forth between both cameras so that you can monitor activity for both locations. There is not a way to show both locations on the screen at the same time, but I did not see this as a negative because the “scan” option continuously alternates the views.When you charge the monitor for 7 hours, it allows you to unplug it- making it portable. It has a 1,000 foot range.You can also preserve the battery by turning the video off and just listening to audio.Overall, I am very impressed and would definitely recommend this monitor. I give it 4 1/2 stars (taking away 1/2 a star because the color quality is not as shown in the advertisement). This is the ONLY negative. The picture color in the advertisement shows a vibrant color display, but that is not reality. The monitor is in color, but colors are weak. You can see this in the video I posted. Still - I would definitely recommend it!P.S. This is not just for use as a baby monitor, but can also be used for puppy/dog monitoring or (as in our case) used to monitor an aging parent for safety purposes.

Amazing camera with its True Crying Detection system that recognizes your babies cries over other noises. The video quality is like no other I've used - its so clear! It comes with a bendable leg that can stand or attach to mostly anything and you can add multiple cameras! Its so easy to download the app and access it anywhere!

I've just started using the camera and it takes a bit time for a rookie like me to get used to it but it's actually easy, intuitive and quality looks great sofar especially for the price you pay. Does the job as well as the gopro if not better and easier, but may not do some of the more advanced things other cameras do. I would recommend it

We received one of these as a wedding gift, and purchased three more so that we could place them around the house where our dogs normally hang out, and it was to our benefit when we came home and found out one of our three had become sick throughout the day. We were able to review the video, saved to a local SD card on the camera itself, and figured out which dog needed to go to the vet, and got him the help he needed. Very grateful for these cameras. I would like to see them have an optical zoom feature of at least 2x, before going into digital zoom, but for the price, they are life savers.

 I have only used this for one night so far, but was really excited to see it catch four different visits over night… night vision is not super clear, but clear enough you can make out the animal. Overall, if this continues to work for a while, I am happy with it, especially for the price and not knowing anything about game cameras.
