Okay! Sure. Well, it is huge. That makes it not practical for travel. The end.This humdinger is huge, yes, bit it is also that on what it delivers!The sounds are crystal clear and all nice. Non-looping is a false claim always on these types of machines because, well, what lullaby goes on for 8 hours while you sleep? There is the pudding. Gosh, I love pudding! You have any you don't need, fresh? I love all flavors, by the way. Nevertheless, it is seamlessly done when it is, creating a wonderful sound in all its categories.The levels of sound are wonderful and louder than you'd expect, also as soft as it goes it loses no quality, either. And controlling the volume is a snap. No, you cannot snap your fingers to change anything, I tried. Now my carpal tunnel is a mess. Thanks, Obama.The light combinations or possibilities are best when controlled by the app, of course, but still delightful and plentiful using the buttons. And it is pretty bright! You may not need the nightlight you already have in the room at home with this...it really is great! But it isn't something that will light up a room the way even a small led nightlight can in a small room but you will love the light feature! I kept it the first night on the bright lavender, which is the color of my alien friend Xrpcok's eyes, well, one of them, he lives here, usually in the walls and I thought it'd be a nice token of care. It, in fact, was taken as aggression and now I probably have to go up to the mothership soon, again. But I will take this noise machine with me and stay calm. Hopefully.....Charging via USB C is great. It has a normally short cord but if placed in an adapter on the wall, most beds have a table or something to put this on and it becomes a non-issue. But it charges swiftly and does hold a charge well, which is a good thing for traveling if you can manage to take the beast with you.Using the app versus touching the control buttons, well, they both work exactly as they should and the app is great for distance control, you know, like when Madge sits there and makes decisions for you and she is 1,300 miles away. You cannot control it from that far away but it is nice to use the app there when the machine is within range, I suppose, however, if you are like me and want to use an app-controlled noise machine like this one with so many features to help you sleep good luck! You might find that you lie there thinking about how fun it is to go through all the sounds and find a specific light that you are CERTAIN matches it and by then, you are going to be late for work or home duties. And, the next night, you will likely think about how you made a mistake and saw something that reminded you of a couple of the sounds, and at night you do the whole thing over. Night...after night. So, if it is for you and you want some sleep, the buttons are still your best friend.Even for its size, this has a small footprint on whatever surface and it does not vibrate on metal, glass, wood, plastic, veneer, marble, or any other typical surface you have. However, I do not recommend selecting the perfect sound and light and holding it on your chest while you try to sleep, because, well, it still won't vibrate on most, MOST skin types, but it is a clear sign of needing help. Feel free to find me if you do!I recommend this highly, it is loaded, more loaded than most of all the rest, and it would be great for any age, anywhere you can use it...therefore making it a superb gift!
