Cheap and effective
Switching from a Google Nest, these cameras are super helpful! I will say, to get the bad out of the way, they may not offer all the same benefits as a Nest, but they offer some nice tricks of their own. For example, I can put an SD card in these cameras if I don't trust Big Brother companies, super nice which a lot of other cameras don't permit. The app is really nice, I can view all my cameras at once. These cameras do a good job of using the zones I've made to where they only alarm me when something enters outside of the zone, which is what it's set to do. You can switch from a 720p to 1080p really easily in the app. The app also works fluently with Google Home so you can control/see everything within Google atmosphere. I put my cameras in some funky places on my house, but I'm able to see all around the corners and get everything caught. Using the rotate feature is a little slow at times, but it mainly depends on which resolution you're currently using for the camera; I usually switch the quality down to rotate and reposition and then crank it back up.All in all for this camera, if you need something like a Nest or equal, then you need something like that. If you're looking for something cheap but offers a great alternative to some of the big names, then this is definitely the go-to on that for sure!

Great camera, easy install, clunky app
Such an easy install. This little guy was up and ready in ten minutes. I like getting the notifications on my phone and love the ability to set different zones in the photo to ignore so the tiny corner of sidewalk in the picture doesn’t set off my camera every time someone walks their dog in my neighborhood. The app is a little clunky; it’s not slick for sure, but it’s usable. Adore the fact that I don’t need wires or power and that I can just replace the batteries when these guys run out.

Excellent bargain at the ninety dollar price, lots of adjustments.Posted are two shots taken side by side of a squirrel, one of a Moultrie camera and one by this camera. The camera is at the bottom, above the power button rather than the top.The setup is easy. It is done through a color LCD screen inside the housing. There are arrow and selection keys to navigate the menus. The camera can be plugged directly into a computer via USB to download pictures and video. The camera has a wide field of view (80-90 degrees). On the most sensitive setting it has only a few apparently false triggers even with blowing trees in the background. It will detect small birds flying through the trees at least some of the time. If there is a white background like snow it can be difficult to see.The camera does fairly well over a wide brightness range in a single frame from sunlit snow to shadow.

Camera is great, directions and app could be bette
I really like the product. I wish that the directions were a little more clear on the options for installation and some direction. The app could also be a bit more user friendly, but overall the camera is a great alternative to the more expensive options that require you to have a doorbell.

Good Camera. Perhaps, Not The Best Mounting Syste
Okay, Blink. You wanted me to review your product, so here goes. The Good: It's a decent camera. Motion detection and night vision are quite good. The Bad: The mounting system which is snap on and off, is difficult to attach, and makes the camera vulnerable to being stolen. Unfortunately, there is one location, for which I can't use any of the third party mounting systems, due to their larger size. So I'll have to use the stock mounting hardware and hope I don't break anything. The Ugly: UPDATE: There is no ugly. It turns out that there is a way to adjust the length of the recorded clip. Blink support pointed this out to me.

Pic sensor isn't the best but video is fantastic a
EDIT: the company reached out and gave me the info for how to set it up for video and it is much better. The instructions weren't very clear in the booklet but once they told me how to it was very simple. Much better seeing the video clips and the sensor seems to work better for that than the pictures. There is a "slight" delay in setting off the camera but that is to be expected so if an animal is running by I often get the tail end of them but if they are walking around it works perfectly and I have caught some wonderful videos of the animals on our property from a mother possum with her babies to a mated deer couple and coyotes and even hawks catching rodents. They also have another camera with audio that is very nice and the buck seems intrigued by it as well as he is always checking it out lol for the price this is a great purchase and we bow have multiple ones set up all over our property.I am starting off on 3 stars but can hopefully edit for 5. I really like this camera, seems very simple to setup and use, great price, arrived super fast, picture quality is not bad.Now for the star deductions..nowhere in the setup did it ask/offer up video settings. I followed the instructions step by step and even went back through the setup a second time to see that I didn't miss it. So it is not taking video until I figure that out.We purchased this to see how possums keep getting into the barn as we have already lost a 6 month old rare breed roo and refuse to bring new babies in until we solve the issue. This camera took 54 pics over 3 days of my husband in the barn or the roo walking by..and then stopped...the night before we caught this critter in our trap. The camera is facing RIGHT AT THE TRAP and (s)he is a biggun and it did not pick him up AT ALL on the camera. Batteries are totally fine as I checked everything out. Very upset about that. Now I cleared the SD card and we are moving the camera to a different location to hopefully get a wider range and pick up the next one. If I can figure out the video and the sensor works better next time around I will update to 5 stars because for the price it is great. Just failed us the time we needed it the most.

Includes 128GB Card. Bright Video & Ultra Wide Ang
The media could not be loaded.
I go jogging a lot and sometimes I want to record my run without holding my cell phone. I picked this cam because it can clip to my cap for hands-free use and it has a long battery life. The true test was using it on a dark, rainy and cloudy day. The video is attached and it is surprisingly bright and clear even though the weather was terrible. The brightness of the video was most impressive. The camera clip did not slip or get loose during the running so I didn't have to worry about it falling off. That is my top concern with these types of cameras. Part of the video shows me tugging at the camera and seeing if the clip will let go but it held to my cap very well.Since the camera can tilt 90 degrees, you could also clip it to clothing instead of a cap. The camera felt like it weighs about half the weight or less than my cell phone so it didn't bother my head or neck during the jog. I set the record mode to 60fps at 2.7K and the recorded video was about 1.75GB for 5mins. You have to use an app to change the settings. I didn't bother with stabilization because I prefer the "feel" of the raw video. Two things that I really like in the accessories are the 128GB micro SD card included and the USB-C charging cable. The hard case that this stuff comes in is cool too!I took a few pictures using the camera and they ain't kidding about ultra wide angle. It says that it shoots 160 degrees so that's almost double the capture of a regular image. The image stats were 5120 x 3840, 72 DPI, f/2.8, for about 7-8mb per image. It's perfect if you want to get close to an object and still capture the entire thing. The closer you are, the brighter it will be.In terms of the size, I posted some pictures of the camera next to an Iphone XR so you can get an idea of how big it is.I'm excited to use this camera for sports next since it is holding up well to shaking, turning, moisture etc. and it really gives me that POV feel when I watch my videos on playback. It'll be good to save scenic runs, and re-watch my own sports training to correct mistakes.

Great Budget Device
Let me preface this by telling you that I did not purchase this camera for 'high intensity action sports footage,' and I still believe that a goPro is likely the better route for capturing those priceless moments of action. If you're like me, however, and want a solid, portable camera that offers similar features and functionality at a fraction of the cost, then this is for you. At a mere $140, I'll be honest - I didn't expect much. The camera on my cellphone (Note 8) blew me away, and I thought that this would really struggle to compete. Apparently, the realm of personaldigital cameras has advanced at the same rate as any other tech sector. After choosing the highest quality setting (4k@60fps, not 30), I recorded some video of my dog and proceeded to transfer to my computer. The screen is great for convenience, but you're going to want to play the footage back on something larger. The file size was large, which gave me a good bit of confidence. After transferring the video, I tried playing it on my computer in VLC Media Player. I experienced quite a bit of stutter, but quickly realized that it was my computer's older processor that was struggling to render true 4k media. I resorted to transferring the video file to a portable SSD and played the file on my Xbox One X. I was blown away by how crisp the picture was. Truly amazing. One major caveat: I don't know how anyone would capture true 4k video with this device while in motion. Mounting the camera with a tripod in a stationary position was the only method of keeping the camera stable enough to prevent shaking. With the 4k@30fps option, motion stabilization is supported and works quite well, but at a sacrifice of quality. Seeing as the main purpose of this camera for ME was to capture photos of myself and my dog (with included remote), and time lapses of the coast where I live. For the function it serves, this camera far exceeded my expectations in all aspects. If you want a GoPro-like device without paying the premium cost, I'd strongly recommend considering this product as a viable option.**I may update the review to include a link to a better example of the video quality. My fear is that amazon scales down the resolution of any customer-uploaded media to maintain a reasonable server load, so if the video appears very pixelated, that is likely the cause.
