I am using it in the trunk of my car, I have about half of the trunk completed - the remaining part involves removing the battery and some electrical items. I can tell it is working since the exhaust noise/rumble has been greatly reduced thus far. It is easy to use, to cut, to shape into the curves of the trunk. I would highly recommend it.

When the drive was working it was great averaging around 70MB/s during transfers. However, now I have a problem with frequent disconnects during transfers. I will get a pop up that says file not found or busy and then a Try Again or skip....Try Again usually works, but it gets annoying doing that time and time again. There is a new firmware update available from 12/12/13 that seems to fix that problem, but the firmware update software can not find an internet connection...tried on three different networks: work, home, and cell phone. No problems browsing the internet or downloading software. Disabled Firewall and Antivirus still does not work.No way to download the firmware manually. An internet search turned up that they have had this problem with their Firmware software since as far back as 2010, granted this drive hasn't been around this long, but perhaps they need to spend some much needed money on a competent programmer to fix their train wreck of a software package. If I had written this review two months ago, I would have had high praises for this drive. Unfortunately, I find this drive to be to unreliable to trust with my backups. I will be going back to the Seagate drives, which I still have three 500GB drives from two or three years ago still working great.Edit (June 2014): modifying my review to a 4-star. It appears the cable was the culprit of all my problems. However, it would be nice if the cables lasted a little longer. I haven't re-attempted the firmware updater.

Could be brighter. Remote does always work on first try. Batteries that come with it sucks. Overall happy with purchase

Did a basic out of the box checkout, all seems good, except the remote does not work with my phone. Maybe some software update will fix this issue later on.

works great. just every time xbox gets shut off i have to unplug and plug it back it doesnt read it.

This is really nice kit for GoPro users especially the beginners like me. The only problem I found was that the suction mount does not stick to the surface for more than a minute.

The motion detector some time does not work but overall, the lamp performs very well and has an easy installation
