Didn't know what to expect but ended up really liking this. Sitting on the back deck in the evening watching the woods is now a regular event. Very good views of the racoons and fox.

I bought this as a gift for my brother in law. He loves to hunt, but did not have any night vision products. We tested it out before we gave it to him to make sure that it worked. It was great. Don't expect to see hundreds of yards away, but it works good for shorter distances. The picture is good and is in black and white.

Gets the job done and is fun for the whole family to experience. Noticed a remote IR illuminator can make this unit completely stealth while incredibly increasing range. Give yourself an evening of playing with the controls to become efficient with them but will become second nature in no time. Very satisfied!

I purchased for my 13yr old and 12yr old boys. They love them. I'm extremely impressed with the quality!!

We bought these goggles for our 7 year old nephew. Once we got them working, they were a hit with him and his dad. However I was glad I had read all of the other reviews. We had several of the same problems. Most frustrating was the batteries. To change or install them you need a tiny screwdriver to remove tiny screws, which you most likely will drop. Do not attempt this outside or in the dark. You will lose the screws for sure. The batteries were just too hard to install. Whomever designed the battery storage needs to be shot. The instructions were not real clear about which screws to remove and we removed the wrong ones the first time. How about a plastic flip up battery cover? I have a $2 flashlight that is easier than this. Given that the earlier reviewers said that the batteries did not last long, I think this battery installation challenge is a real nuisance. The design of how you put the batteries in is poor. Also it was initially frustrating for the child because it was day time and hard for him to see if they worked--it's a Christmas challenge! But we'd read about that & were prepared for it too. I cannot rate the durability. But I think most kids of all ages will enjoy these. And the price/value ratio is good.
