I did a lot of research on this thing before purchasing. Basically I am having to work from home for a while and my office wanted me still "in the office" if you will. My boss bought another webcam that was supposedly plug and play and compatible with Windows 10, but it wasn't and ended up being a nightmare. I did some research and saw that Skype rated this in the top 5 webcams that work best with Skype. I also read on CNET that for the price range is was the best. If you want to pay a little more I would go with the C920. I wasn't paying and I had to keep the cost down. It was truly plug and play, the Logitech drivers popped up and started installing. It was very quick and simple. I do wish that most of these companies would quit letting Bing and all that be apart of the installation process where you have to pay attention to uncheck the boxes during installation, however thats neither here nor there for this review. Once the cam was up there is a "Follow my face" feature which could definitely be handy and works surprisingly well. The picture quality is very good and the sound/mic is excellent. I really was shocked at how easy setup was and at the quality at this pricing point. If your looking for a very good cam with a good mic at a low price, you cant go wrong with this thing.The only reason it got 4 stars was because of the cord length. I know that seems silly and stupid, but its ridiculously short. If your using it on desktop like me, then its a huge issue, I actually had to move my PC up onto my desk because of this cam. The cord is extremely short, so to use it on my monitor as it should be, is more tricky. If they would have put a normal size cord, I would have given it 5 stars, maybe they were only thinking of people that use laptops. I am that person most of the time, just not for work. It is very compatible with Skype, Skype picked it all up very quickly and has since worked flawlessly. I keep this cam on for almost 9-10 hours 5 days a week and I have yet to have an issue with this cam now for a couple weeks. The other side says I am very clear and sound very clear, they are using the same cam, especially compared to what we were us ing.Boxing was what I have come to expect with Logitech. We replaced a Vivint doorbell camera with this Lorex. It was fairly easy to install and gets the job done. The reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it was a little more sensitve. We have a fairly long walkway up to our front door, but I don't get notifications on my phone until after someone is already standing at our door or has rung our doorbell. I wish I would get a notification as soon as someone started walking up our sidewalk (about 20 feet away from our door).It also takes several moments to access the live video from the app, which feels like a long time when I'm quickly trying to see who is at my door.

I didn't use this for baby monitors, but it works great to position my computer camera so I don't have to do some elaborate Jenga balancing game, and when a cord is moved it doesn't get knocked off the monitor.I tried later to use it for baby monitors, but I struggled to find a position that let the grips be secure (without grabbing the rotating part of the monitor). I think I would have liked a stud (1/4"-20 for monitors set up for threaded mounts) or keyhole (two screws to use for monitors that have key hole mounts) -- I have one of each actually.

I like the controls which are easy to set and the ability to swivel the lamp head. The unit is well built and a pleasure to use. I have two of these and intend to use them as slave flashes.

I recently purchased this product, and I'm happy with what it goes back. Motion detection sound alarm and the lights on the camera are really good. I will give starting for all these and the best thing is subscription plans are good. I will surely recommend this to my friends.

This is my first handycam, and I have been quite impressed with its normal functions. The documentation for this little guy is not complete, and I am not sure that I would buy it again. I have no intention of getting rid of it because it delivers such stunning image quality and it is to easy to use.An important function to me is its ability to take such high quality stills. It is easy to carry this light-weight camera about to use for both video and still images, with superior image quality .

Great lil camera -HD quality... Indoor use only -I tried tk have it shie out the windows thru to the front and back yards also....-but would inly see a rrfelcyion frlm the glass....but indoors...very clear....will add photos later
