The V50X is my first foray into the 'GoPro' camera arena-- and I must say I am impressed!Wished I had tried this segment out sooner-- I'm an avid sportsman and I'll be using this mostly outdoors ( shooting, hunting, biking, kayaking, fishing mainly). I just can't believe that the camera is as small as it is-- you might think it a toy, if you didn't know better. And a toy it is not! It takes video clips as good (maybe better, since it shoots 4K at 30pps) as my Sony full-body. With Image Stabilization and Gyroscope available, you'd be hard pressed to to beat at any cost, much less under a crisp hundred dollar bill. The still photos are quite acceptable, especially in bright lighting-- not so good in the dark, or night shooting. There is no flash, so you go with the available sensitivity and do the best you can (you do have several ISO choices).But what I really like about this camera is the SIMPLE user interface! And, it's a touchscreen to boot. I'm certainly no youngster and the eyes aren't what they used to be (and, did I say the mind might not be as keen as past decades). But this camera makes up for those lapses with its downright easy to use functions. If I can figure it out, anybody can do the same-- you'll be using it in a matter of minutes, not days on end. And, there are plenty of Googles, forums and YouTubes to help out, too!I might add that the firmware for the camera is the November 2019 (yes, this month!) version. No need to run out and try to find the latest and greatest update-- and potentially brick your brand new buy!The camera also came with 2, high-capacity 1350mah LiON batteries. Other cameras I looked at were in the 900-1050 mah range. And the charger is a simple to use, USB powered 2-port mini-cube (for both batteries at the same time).The camera DOES NOT come with storage-- it takes a microSDXC SD card, up to 64gb. Since it does 4K video, you'll want a fast, name brand card, preferably a card rated at U3 speed. If you try to cheap out here, you may get some functionality, but eventually you're going to find something the camera will refuse to do. I have a personal preference for Samsung EVO ( or EVO+), or SanDisk Extreme-- you're only talking $10, versus a 'cheapie no-name', for $6-$7. Spend the extra $3-$4 and don'y worry about it! And buy that card from a REPUTABLE dealer-- there are lots and lots of 'fake' Cards to be had-- just CYA and stay safe.I don't want to give the impression this is a 'GoPro'-- it certainly is not. But for 1/4 the cost, this V50X holds its own as being among the best in the sub-$100 range. You won't go wrong buying this camera. And with the remaining 3 bills, you can fund some other projects that you've been pondering. Happy shooting and enjoy your new Akaso V50X!

This was our first camera of this type. We are very happy. It's a good size. We like the screen and it was super easy to figure out how to use it. We already caught a pic of a coyote last night. Very pleased.

Samuel was very helpful, he provided me excellent customer support. He knew exactly what the issue was and he resolved it right away. I would recommend the camera because of the 1080 resolution. you get an excellent quality.

Bought as a gift for my son age 8. He loves making videos of everything. I keep the camera in its protective housing. So far everything works well and we've had no issues. My son loves it!

Easy setup just make sure you setup the alerting zones or you will get endless notifications. My only suggestion is that they roll out an update that allows the siren to be triggered automatically if the camera is tripped during certain hours.

This little camera is wonderful, especially for the price. I gave it to my nephew for his birthday and he loves it for vlogging. Nice picture quality and an excellent choice for those starting out and not wanting to spend big bucks on another brand.

We have not used all of the attachments yet, but so far the product seems good. We used one of the camera holders while mountain biking, it came loose a few times. Everything else seems pretty good
