A really good light-weight tripod
This is an excellent quality build tripod. It weighs the same as my excellent Manfrotto BeFree tripod but is larger and more sturdy. The release on the head connecting to the camera requires a short screw on and off rather than the usual quick release snap on but this isn't a major issue to me. The head is completely screw off anyway and can be replaced with anything you might prefer (I swap it with the head from my Manfrotto and an ancient pan-and-tilt head). The head replacement system is extremely good but requires strong hands and a bit of thought. I have the gold version but wish it was done in a non-shiny gold/silver version but that's a small issue. I actually like holding this tripod as it feels good quality for such a light weight.

Sweet
I searched and researched night vision, not wanting to pull the trigger and end up with crap. Watched the review videos on this one and was sold. These workk better than I expected. Living in the country with little ambient light, I can go out, turn these on, and make out objects from a pretty good distance. If you are on the fence about getting night vision, you can't go wrong with these.
