They are really soft and fat. They are loud and have pretty good quality sound. When I lay them on my shoulders and rotate the speaker, the movement is loose and doesn't stay where you try to position it, it just rotates freely with any little bit of force or gravity. When I rotate the speakers sideways, it's for a reason and I need the speaker to be angled, not spinning freely. This is something that would be helpful to know beforehand but as far as I know there's no term for this. Aside from that I like the headphones pretty well. For this price you will not be disappointed.

We are fortunate to have a great backyard...a beautiful garden, lots of trees, a big patio, a sweet tire swing and the coup de grace...a few weeks ago my husband installed a 200' zip line! After spending a lot of downtime and all day July 4th out there, we remembered the missing element...music! Over the last 20 years, we've had outdoor speakers a few times, they lasted 3-4 years at best. I bought these speakers based on others' Amazon reviews, no other criteria, I'm a female after all, what do I know about electronics?When the speakers arrived, my electrician husband thought the quality was great for the price. He liked the provided hardware, and I like how they look hanging on the trees. The black is not very obvious. He stole the old streaming device from our bedroom TV (nice excuse for an upgrade) and now we have Pandora in the backyard!! The sound is terrific and they are apparently waterproof. (I ran the sprinkler last week and noticed it spraying right into the speaker while the music played. I'm not recommending that, it was not deliberate, but it did not seem cause any damage.)Our 21 year-old son said, "Why did you wait till I went to college to put 6 Flags in our backyard??"

Nice sounding speakers for therir size. I like them so much, I bought 2 sets because I liked them so much.

I've been using Creative products since the days of Wolfenstein and "Sound Blaster" (I think that was the early 90s), quality control is still there. For a sub $20 set of PC speakers running off a 5W USB, these things have amazing sound quality, good highs and lows, and an incredible volume range (like I can turn them up in my 2000sqft basement and they still be loud on the other end). In the context of this review, my monitor is effectively serving as an amp since the sound is coming into the monitor via HDMI and then out the headphone jack to these speakers. I have the output volume from the "amp" (lol) at 100% to maximize the volume range on the speakers via the knob.Any reviews citing not loud enough - A: The software volume is not on max, B: the hardware volume is not on max (if using monitors, etc, as a go-betweem), C: The user is completely deaf.I bought the set without the separate woofer - for my purposes, these things thump plenty and enough to vibrate my wireless mouse if turned up enough. The bass sounds "clean". They are sitting on a hard desk with a hard wall right behind them, which is probably optimal given the woofers fire straight back. I ran the full gambit of sound tests on them (for me that is an array of music types including instrumental only).I have owned many sets of Bose/Klipsch speakers in the past. I can't tell a difference in quality from these, which is nuts. Had they said "Made in USA" on the bottom they would have been perfect.

The ratings are accurate and these are great entry level speaker stand for satellite speakers. One note of caution: For wireless speakers, you will not be able to route the power wiring through these stands. The openings are only large enough for wire like speaker wire. I strapped mine to the outside. Not as clean of a look, but...

The price for performance is awesome. The bass is amazing but when turned up past 3/5 it gets a bit muddy but over it’s a really good speaker. It can get very loud if you like that. I returned this though because I can now afford the Z623 but my time with these speakers over the past week have been amazing, would definitely recommend if your on a budget or don’t want to spend to much this are the best chose. I would also recommend getting insurance just in case because you never know.

Love that they don't require a wall plug and that they sound so good for such small speakers. Did have to cover the light with some black electric tape. I don't like lights like that shining in face.

I just seat up my stands and so far I like them better than the ones I bought for my Samsung speakers.
