The mobile app is super-easy to use, and can be used with other WiFi outlets made by this company. Outdoor lighting is a big use case for this. No more dawn to dusk or mechanical clock outlets. Awesome.

Very easy to install and the app is easy to use. Start by downloading the app to your phone and create your account. Put the batteries in the camera, plug the hub into an outlet, then use the app to recognize them both. It only took me 10 minutes to get my Blink system up and running with 2 cameras. Good live/still picture and sound, and the night vision is good as well. The motion detection works well too. You can customize many features, too.

Overall great product. Easy to set up, and it's very convenient that it can connect directly to wifi vs the arlo base station. Only shortcoming so far is that the install seemed to cause some issues with the arlo app, where I have to log out, force close the app, and restart the app to access content. A bit kludgy, but assume it will be fixed on the software side at some point.

I was surprised how big this smartlock is when I opened the box and installed it on my door. But oh well, I looking for functionality and not really how it looks on my door. The smartlock was very easy to install. The August Pro has all the necessary functions that I need for a smartlock, though I don't know if its the Wifi bridge or the app that is having connection problems, or both of them. Once I get out of the app and try to log back in, the smartlock always loses connection with your wifi (yes I always clicked the wifi button on top of the app). I always have to force stop the August Home App in my app settings on my phone (Samsung Galazy S7 Edge). After doing a force stop, the app automatically connects the smartlock to the wifi and all features are functional again. I always have to do these extra steps each time which was a little inconvenient. Maybe the wifi bridge and the app need some firmware update to fix this bug in the Android phones. But anyway, door sense is a very good feature, the auto lock and unlock is awesome, the temporary users and permanent users are so helpful, and not replacing your existing deadbolt is a major plus.Now I can give temporary access to our house cleaners, nanny, or any contractors that need access to the house. I can always change the access code anytime, anywhere. And my fiance and kids have their own permanent user codes so I know exactly who opened the door. I can't give 5 stars yet until they fix the problems with wifi bridge and app. Overall I am happy with this smartlock.

I bought this lock because it is compatible with my Ring alarm system. Instructions are good and it was easy to install & setup. As an added bonus, each time I unlock my door, my alarm system is automatically disabled and I am able to lock/unlock my door via the Ring app. (I think that there is also a Kwikset app that will also allow you to control your lock via a WiFi connection.)
