I've had these for over a year now and they are still pumping out the sound! I bought them because while watching movies on my laptop, I found the internal speakers were not picking up the low tones in voices... I couldn't hear the dang movie!! So, after cruising Amazon I found these and decided to give them a try! I have found them to be extremely effective in listening to music and movies!! They are not the loudest on the planet, sure... but, they have good tonal quaility, does not distort audio, no static, and picks up low tones quite well. Well worth the price as I've had other speakers go out in a year. And, when I store them I twist the cord all around them, so the cords are well made too. Give 'em a shot, you may find the best, cheap little speakers!

Rarely write reviews but this speaker is one of the best things I’ve bought in a while. I needed something for the pool area but also be able to hear on our patio at the same time. I thought I would to buy 2 speakers but this thing is amazing. I could hear from every angle of my large yard and pool area. It is a little heavier than I expected but for the sound quality it’s not a problem.

4/4 stars out of the box but --- read on 5/5 stars if you do what I did.After purchasing these speakers I was really excited to hear what they could do. Before I mention the sound quality, I want to bring up the first point everyone should know. The speakers come with a (Relatively) short RCA cable that links the right and left speakers. If you are intending to use these in a dual monitor desktop setup, then you will need to purchase an RCA coupler and 6 foot RCA extension audio cable - potential problem solved as now you can separate the speakers by about 10 feet. Now point number 2. The build construction is excellent. the base treble and volume knobs are high quality. Point 3. - Here it comes.... They sound quite good. Mid and upper range are really crisp.But the base was just not adequate. These are perfect computer desktop speakers for watching utube or listening to news feeds. But for music I wasn't happy. Then I thought about it and all these need is a sub-woofer and they would be killer. My outgoing setup was a 2.1 Creative setup (15 years old) with a sub woofer that I was going to toss. I decided to give it a try:Here's what you need to do.Set your PC to 5.1 audio . Connect the Creative 20Ts to the Front R and L. (Green terminal) Turn off the Side and Center speakers.Activate the Sub-woofer and plug it into the Orange terminal.Restart the computer and take a listen. FANTASTIC! Realy Rally Good! I can't believe that this $89 pair of speakers / and a used sub sound this good. I would have paid $300 to get this sound.

This speakers sound amazing, my wife sound like the next American idol. Now she could sing all day all night and leave me alone.

Yes - this has the USB connection - but also requires you to use the 3.5 audio adapter plugged into your input/output audio port - to hear both speakers. If you unplug the 3.5 audio cable, there is no sound from the left speaker. Because both of these connections are on the left side of my laptop, that is not acceptable. I will be returning. When both speakers are working, they do give out good sound. Just not for my setup.

I love how noise cancelling they are, it came with a free audio jack which was a delighful surprise, my friends say they can hear me a lot clearer now, overall very pleased

They are great little speakers but they did not work with my Seiki TV as I had hoped. Now I have them connected to my computer and am pleased with the sound.
