Finally got to see what was digging under my shed...
They have had come up with instructions and components that I believe they have made the effort of providing a product- -to eliminate a lot of problems cause by consumers either using the wrong accessories, or not being able to understand Chinese English. Perhaps they have been listening to some of the Amazon reviews.. They provide a memory chip to make sure the consumer doesn't mess up by buying the wrong chip- and blaming the product- and enough batteries to make it operable and to also make sure the consumer know the right type )The instuctions for operation are silk screens in the inside of the unit- incase you lose a paper copy. This is a step above some of the usual precast that are foisted on us. They seem to want to support the product with tech support and warranty- - I have not tried this aspect. My only criticism, is that like a lot of product- they have some controls- (0n off test)- embossed in the black plastic- making it difficult to see what the positions are. Partiilary for those with not so great eyesight. I might add tiny writing with light gray and white on Pale product manuals, is an irk of mine.

Go Pro Session - A good thing in a smaller package
The media could not be loaded.

This is camera is pretty darn good.I haven't used it for anything action packedlike riding a motorcycling or surfing, but I have used it as a dashcam andhandheld cam. I won't talk much aboutspecs because you can go and read aboutthem on Gopro's website. The good:It's small... really small. It's water resistant for splashes and waterproof up to a certain depth. I honestlyforgot the depth. Go to GoPro.com to seeit for yourself.Has a removable bracket that doesn't covermicrophones like the Hero 4 cases.Easy to operate despite missing the extrabutton.Comes with a variety of sticky base mounts andbracket types that allow you to shoot at some crazyangles.Lots of accessories.Comes with it's own editing software.Time Lapse is really cool. The Bad:This thing gets hot to the touch when recordingfor lengthy periods... i mean really hot.Battery is built in so when it dies, you haveto stop whatever it is that you're doing with itand wait for it to recharge.Fisheye lens ... you either love it or hate it.To edit out effect, you lose a good portion offootage.Sometimes it fails to read your memory cardafter recording for long time. I wonder if theheat it generates has anything to do with it.Should've come with a standard camerascrew base mount for a tripod. The adaptersare not expensive but, it would've been nice.No charger included, just a USB cable.Video editting software requires a 64bit computer.4K video playback doesn't work well unless youhave a powerful machine.

Amazing
I love this little flash, it has saved a lot of my photos. The only downside is that it’s weak when you move away from your subject but I think that’s bc I’m working with a 50mm 1.8 prime lens and I don’t have much space to work with. I think I need to learn to use it better. But I got a diffuser for it and it does amazing. Get this if you’re on a tight budget and just want to experiment or need something quick and easy for home studios or to carry as a backup on the go. This little flash delivered! Ofc it’s not like the big boys that’s cost big bucks but it works great! Someone will years of experience with flash could work this like their expensive flashes, and someone just beginning could make their work look as if they were doing it for years! It’s all in how you use it! Get it

Great baby monitor!
We very much enjoy this monitor and it has been working great for us so far. It was recommended to us by family who previously purchased one and theirs has held up very well. The monitor works well and seems well designed with convenient equipment included with the package. The battery for the handheld monitor unit is removable and thus should be Able to be replaced without having to buy a new system if needed. Package also included both USB and outlet charging options as well as an alternative zoom lens.We also thought we would have to purchase a mounting kit however it’s comes with a screw and anchor that the monitor can slide onto (and be removed from) which we plan to setup shortly. It’s simple but makes for easy setup of alternative mounting locations without needing to purchase any specialty mounting brackets.Overall very impressed with the product and with the thought put into it!

Almost perfect - let me remove the watermark & dat
This camera replaces a few year old RCA/Hikvision doorbell that operated fine at 1080p but the lens wasn't holding up to the elements. The kit that comes with the Lorex doorbell is top notch. Mechanical doorbell kit, horizontal and vertical tilting extensions, tools, instructions, etc. The Lorex Home app is fine. I have integrated this with my Blue Iris NVR, which was fairly painless. The unit comes with a 32gig microSD card, which is nice, but probably want something a bit larger. The WDR works well as the sun moves through the day and the camera has to contend with direct sun and shade at various times. The force color mode at night works well, but we keep our house lights on all night for extra security. The light on the doorbell is a novelty but it's neat you can have it flash when motion is detected as a sort of deterrence. The Lorex integrates well with Alexa through the Lorex Home skill and will announce "Someone's at the front door" on all Echo devices in your house when the button is pressed. The ONE THING that is preventing me from giving this a 5-star review is the Lorex Home app does NOT have the ability to edit the overlay (the Lorex Logo and the Time/Date). I want a clean video stream to my Blue Iris NVR and it just isn't possible. A real bummer, especially since I run this sideways to get a full head to toe shot (have other cameras watching the rest of the porch). I called Tech Support and they said perhaps a fusion NVR they sell might be able to edit the overlay, but I don't need or want to buy one of their NVRs. Seems a VERY simple App update could add this feature. I have about 5 other IP cameras that I have currently or used in the past and EVERY one of them has a web interface you can log in to configure and turn off the watermark. I will keep looking to see if I have to bootleg a firmware from the OEM to get that watermark off! It's worth the money (no subscription fees!), just be aware of that one limitation.

Great value for starter scope
I chose this telescope after researching a good introductory scope that could potentially lend to some astrophotography. It came two days ahead of schedule and everything was in great shape. Collimation was far out likely from shipping, but was not an issue to correct after souring a collimation tool. Using SkyAlign was an interesting process and after correcting my errors in entering the data, aligned without any issue. It just so happened Mars and Saturn were in view between the houses in my back yard. It came with a 25mm and 9mm lens but mars wasn't able to focus, (I did this before collimation). Saturn on the other hand was a great sight and even with all the light pollution I was able to make out the rings clearly. I'm very happy with this scope as an introduction. I've already purchased a 2xBarlow.I would recommend this to anyone taking a serious interest in astronomy as a beginner scope.

An absolute bargain in 2014
For most folks, professionals included, this could be your one and only camera forever. It's missing nothing important. It's fast enough to get out of your way. It has enough resolution for giant prints. And you can get it now, in 2014, for $200. Incredible.I bought this camera in 2007 and replaced it with a 50D this year. That was dumb, particularly since the focus adjustment feature on that body turned out not to help my bum lens. The 50D had a better LCD and marginally worse image quality. I still recommend the 50D and consider it a bargain, but it's debatable whether the extra coat of shellac relative to this 40D is worth almost twice the price. The 30D before it ($200 used) was missing the AF-on button and had the antiquated pre-tab interface. This 40D and the 50D are totally the sweet spot of used DSLRs right now.So what's good? Speed, UI, image quality, dynamic range, and reliability. It has over 9 stops of dynamic range, so you're less likely to blow the highlights as with every other 8-stop body. Files are clean and usable up to ISO 1600. They're very forgiving to adjust in Adobe Camera Raw, even in tungsten lighting that's giving me blue shadows with my 5D II at high ISO. Seriously, this is one of Canon's all-time great sensors; in some ways, it's even more forgiving than the 6D.Speed, speed, speed. 6.3 FPS is enough for any amateur. Everyone I hand it to takes two or three shots by accident. Super-short shutter lag and mirror blackout. AF capable of tracking most ground-based objects, and unlike the 5D/5D II, the outer points actually work. It has a huge raw buffer and nearly instant image review. The 50D is about 15% faster in some metrics, but it's the difference between very quick and blazing. What are you giving up?* AF tracking is so-so relative to the 7D. Decent.* LCD is low-res. Takes effort and a lot of zooming to gauge sharpness.* Weather sealing isn't. Don't stand in the rain.* No movie mode.* No micro-focus adjust.* No 'AF-On' button on Canon's battery grip.* Auto-ISO is useless (and remained so on every other body until the 5D III)* Pixel density is lower (though there's a lot less additional detail in the 18MP bodies than you'd think)In other words, stuff that mostly doesn't matter. This 40D is just an extremely polished product. In actual use, the 50D, 60D, and 7D aren't any better for stills, except for the AI Servo on the last. It's a steal. If you need a backup body or you're just getting into photography and don't want to spend a mint, buy one.

High value from affordable light source.
This product is used in a three-light configuration for yoga lessons, Zoom courses, and IGTV episodes in a small room. My main lighting is Aputure 300D II, and for the cost of one Aputure light only you could purchase seven of these Godox SL-60W. I setup the lights for long term use in the home studio, and typically they run for 1.5 hours daily, and the have the Aputure Lantern whcih has the matching Bowens mount and the clamp just holds this configuration steady. The light modifier I use costs nearly as much as the light, and that is the secret with these units, get great diffusion and have it close with around 10-12mm focal length on m43, and 20mm a fullframe camera. One situated just behind your monitor/laptop, another on a stand right of camera, and the third just out of the field of view of the lens and face height when you are standing on the yoga mat. This will allow you to transition from the screen and your face- to-face segment over to the mat and back without any bad shadows and great light on the face when you are near to the screen. The fan noise is low, temperature peaked at 49 degrees celcius after an hour at 100% power which is actually low and poses little risk to you light modifier. The included barn door shades are useful, especially with the hoenycomb grid that is included. The remote control works, thought the colour adjustment settings are questionable and likely there for a higher value model, mine are just the white version instead of a variable color cast. They are not meant to be setup, taken down, setup again on a daily basis like the Aputure, and that is where the value comes in if you want to elevate your look at the home office/studio. They work well with the Manfrotto Superclamp on beams, so if you have an unfinished basement or similar feature wood in you ceiling they can work without stands, but otherwise one c-stand and two light stands will give you great versatility depending on ceiling height. The power cord is extremely heavy gauge, and is very flexible and high quality cable.Outdoors and in large studios I use the Aputure 300D II, and in the home studio I use these, both with the same Lantern modifier.

Pretty acceptable quality for price- just works fo
I got this for my new home office and use 2-4 hours a day through Zoom with a greenscreen. I only use the video feature, and use an existing Jabra conference phone I had for audio. I haven't tested the audio at all. The video works pretty well, and is much better than any laptop cam. Autofocus can be a touch slow from time to time, but it is never blurry. The white balance can be tricky, and errors towards the bright side, but I've managed to adjust my lighting and positioning to get good results. I wonder if it would really be good for very bright environments. It comes with lens covers too for extra security. It did just work with every device right out of the box, so I'm happy to recommend for the price. When I bought I just couldn't find the higher end ones anywhere.
