good camera, bad amazon advice!
Trail cam was easy to set up, took cool and interesting pictures... for about nine weeks. Now the pictures are blurry and weird, the unit behaves erratically and menus won't work or respond to button presses. This was under pretty gentle use, mild Oklahoma summer with no temperature extremes in a shady spot. Not sure this would hold up under heavier use.

Amazing sound
I use this speaker as my personal outdoor speaker, in the pool, on a trail ride, or watching Netflix for 4 hours at home. Battery life has never run out in as much as 4 hours. Connection will either need your help in settings to tell your search its there, or it will pick up automatically. I use this on all my trail rides, its attached to my belt loop and I put in my front pocket. Perfect Personal Music. I loved this so much I originally bought 2 for myself & hubby but mine fell off the belt loop when the material let go and fell from about 7 foot high. It was on my road, I found it and it was run over, I picked it up and turned on when it got close to my phone. But could not charge again, so I bought 3 more 2 for me and 1 for granddaughter

There's a lot of settings to choose from...
I got this trail camera to help identify what creatures were tearing up my yard(and that probably live under my house). See photo. This is in a fenced in yard. There is a learning curve for me on the most useful settings for this- only my dog so far! She definitely triggers motion detection! Night vision is good- I didn't know she went out after we went to bed. I believe there is more guidance on the seller's website about how to use it. Quite happy with my purchase!

Best Value - Most Usable Photos of Three Bushnell
Bushnell is the market leader in trail or trophy cameras by far. I got my first Bushnell Trail camera a couple of years ago and got a lot of use out of it. It’s battery compartment held a massive number of batteries, so I made a major investment in lithium batteries. Eventually, I decided it was too expensive to operate. Including this review, I have reviewed three recent model Bushnell Trophy Field Cameras. From an overall perspective, this is the best one regardless of price in my opinion. The reason is this 16-megapixel camera produces fewer blurred images - day or night. That doesn't mean it doesn't create any blurred images. It does – just less. All three cameras have very good motion detection triggers – the same as best I can determine.

What is value is a high-resolution blurred image? None. The other two field cameras have specializations that create certain types of photos better than this camera - if you can find some that are not blurred. In video mode, blurred images are not as apparent. The 20-megapixel camera takes excellent night images in black and white, but in early or late hour lighting when it is in color mode, expect quite a lot of blurred images. The 24-megapixel version, in bright lighting conditions, produces superb images if the subject isn't in motion. So it depends upon your objectives. If you just want to know where animals are, then I believe this is the best camera to get. For the money, you shouldn't be disappointed. I did receive all three cameras on the Amazon Vine program, so I had the opportunity to compare them to one another. Normally, nobody would ever do that. I started with the 24-megapixel camera and did this one last. I expected the higher cost models to perform the best, but it didn't work out that way I expected. If I was spending my own money, even at the same price, I would get this 16-megapixel version because I got the most usable photos. And 16 megapixels is still plenty high resolution. I can print superb 13X19 prints from 16 megapixels and you can't see the difference between 16 or 24 megapixels unless you are cropping a small section and enlarging it. And normally I don't ever do that. On a monitor it is even more difficult to see any difference unless you zoom inward. While the 8 AA batteries are relatively easy to insert, they are very difficult to remove. I have to use a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out of their socket. You’d think this was a crash recorder in an airplane. It’s difficult not to cause cosmetic damage to half the batteries just to get them out of the camera. I use rechargeable batteries, so that is important to me. If you are prying out dead batteries, it doesn’t matter how much damage you create. I broke a fingernail on one camera trying to do it without a tool. I don't do that anymore.Battery life is much better than my Bushnell from a couple of years ago. That is why I use NiMH rechargeable batteries and I get a considerable amount of battery life out of them depending upon how long I plan to keep them in operation. They start off at about 1.2 Volts, less than an alkaline battery but they hold fairly steady voltage for a reasonably long duration. If you are planning to use conventional batteries, get standard lithium batteries. They start off at a much higher voltage of about 1.85 to 1.90 Volts versus an alkaline battery voltage of about 1.55 Volts. Alkaline battery voltage will decline steadily to about 1.1 volts where they begin to become unusable. Lithium batteries hold a higher voltage almost to the end of life whereupon their voltage declines rapidly. In the long term, lithium batteries are less expensive than alkaline batteries. Battery life is a considerable ongoing cost of operation. That is why I use rechargeable batteries even though I don’t get as long life per session. Even glancing through thousands of photos takes a lot of time, so I’m more than satisfied with the battery life using rechargeable batteries.

Great product for the price, battery life poor
Bought this to record horseback trail trips. Purchased the accessory package and used the chest harness. Wrist controller is very tricky to use and with the camera you do not know if it is recording. Set out on a 3 hour ride with 2 batteries. Battery 1 ran out in 45 min but, it only recorded 10 min of video. 2nd battery installer lasted hour and 15min and 7 min of recording (times where when I got off horse and actually looked what recorded. When on a horse is tough to scroll through controls to get it right. Takes lots of practice.

Great camera that’s easy to use and makes us feel
Love the sleek look of this camera. It was super easy to set up and comes with all of the things needed to set it up. It gives us alerts when he falls asleep and wakes up. They are delayed so there aren’t false alarms. It also lets you know if there is movement or if they aren’t able to pick up on breathing (those alerts aren’t delayed) I love being able to see his rpm (breaths) and know he is safe. The picture quality is great and it’s easy to figure out the app on your phone we haven’t had any issues since starting it. We have been using the white noise machine which has been super helpful and has a lot of different options. A few of my friends also have this monitor and recommended it and I am glad they did. We had the nest camera prior and I’m really glad we now are using an actual baby monitor it feels much safer!
