Perfect solution for my needs
I needed a good set of speakers to support my work from home needs due to COVID-19. I am using a KVM switch to to leverage a single Kinesis Advantage keyboard, Samsung 32 in monitor, a Logitech MX-Ergo trackball, and a Logitech C-920 webcam, so it was important that my speakers are usable in this set up.Happy to say that this set works just fine with my CKLau HDMI KVM set up. The sound is great for music as well as voice, and it integrates perfectly with the rest of the hardware. I am currently using a work HP laptop, a business Surface Pro 6 (using the brick replicator), and an Apple Mac Mini seamlessly. The price point was excellent, and I am very happy with the performance.

A bit of a game-changer webcam...WOW
Over the last couple of years I have been using a DSLR hooked up to a CamLInk 4k. With video conferencing taking center stage, I wanted great quality. The DSLR delivered that, but with the cost of having to fuss more with it and with requiring better lighting.I saw that these are being released and ordered one.I hadn't seen one in hand before and was shocked at how small it actually was. The photos make it look like a mini DSLR (kind of), but this thing is tiny. That was a nice surprise.Setting up is easy, basically plug and play. They do have MEET software to download for controlling additional features. The software appears to actually be the star of this show. Why is this thing so cool? Well, you can have it follow you if you move around. I sometimes sit in front of a monitor and other times, I write things on a whiteboard. This will track you and zoom in on you. This is all done with their AI, it's not a manual process. Mind blown at how good this works. The software will also let you blur out the background (ala Zoom), change the levels of zoom, etc. Really awesome. In terms of the hardware, the video is sharp...very sharp. The HDR works well and alleviates the need to have a video light on me. It just takes care of the shadows and makes me look presentable in normal light.I have the 1080p version which tracks you with up to a 2x zoom. I understand the 4k version can track you with up to a 4x zoom. So which one to get. EASY. If you're sitting in front of a monitor or you are having a meeting with two people in the room and you are both close to the camera, get the 1080p. If you are in a conference room with a bigger group and are sitting further from the camera, get the 4k. It's all about the zoom. Most video conferencing software can't transmit anything beyond 720p, so both of these are overkill for transmission resolution.I see in the software that you can switch between two of these cameras and there is a remote control available. I am going to get another one and the remote so that I can switch to a whiteboard or just writing tablet and then switch back to myself.Anyway, this completely replaces my DSLR as a webcam. I still use the DSLR for recording work videos. It's all about bokeh ;).

great bang for the buck...........
Affordable and easy to install and use. Durable and reliable.Maybe a $300 flash is better but, I don't know how or why. But, I think for the average DSLR user that this is a great starting point. It is easier to spend $40 on a flash and then move up to a more expensive flash than go in the other direction.

perfect dslr for moms
i have the t3i and the t3. they are very similar and both do movies. t3i is def an upgrade but if you don't need those extra features i'd get the t3. i have the t3 for personal use just got it as an early bday present actually last week! fab pics. been using the t3i for work for a few months. i did some mega research about the best dslrs for hq video and stills (because we needed both for work but not at the mega pro level, just good enough for a quality showing in the video field for internet video (which it WAY exceeds) and also for photos for our magazine, website and social media. bought a few lights, wireless mic (which is a wonderful feature that the t3i has that the t3 does not- a mic input), tripod, etc and we have a great low cost setup with a professional quality without going overboard.now for my personal use - i wanted the quality stills and video but i didn't the the higher resolution or the mic input. so i got the much cheaper t3. they are very similar down the line minus these features and the rotating lcd on the t3i and grips on the body of the camera. photo quality is wonderful. can't wait to take it on future vacations... it is also wonderful being able to also capture everyday life with such quality vs my reg digital camera. i've been missing out for sure! we are going to take it up to the mountain for a fun family photo shoot soon too.so that's an endorsement from me for the t3 and t3i!
