A good purchase for my use
Happy with this for my use as is lightweight and fits into my camera bag perfectly. Extending and adjusting to suit is good.

I tried both BASIC & PRO -- both are good
I actually tried both, and can confirm that both are great quality products. Which one is better for you depends on your use case. Here's how I came to try out both:• I really wanted a curved light above my curved monitor. Since my monitor is curved, a straight light bar would not work.• On the day that I made my purchase, this product was the only one I saw on Amazon. Also, there was only one "default" option available, which turned out to be the "pro" option currently listed.• The "pro" version was good, but not quite what I needed. (I'll explain below.) So I then went back to the product page, intending to return it.• At that point, the product page now listed a "basic" version (new) vs. a "pro" version (the original). Since the "basic" one seemed to suit me better, and it was cheaper, I decided to buy it and compare the two.• I tried the "basic", loved it, and returned the "pro".--Now, here's my review of the "PRO" light bar:• Quality: 10/10. You can tell this was well-manufactured. The LED lights on top are colorful and change color; the LED lights on the bottom are your standard warm-to-cool white lights.• Remote control: 10/10 for sleekness, 9/10 for convenience, and 5/10 for ease of use. It came already paired with the light, so I had no issues there. The remote is a very sleek, minimalist cylinder. There's a detailed manual for which combo of instructions will perform which action -- e.g. long press to turn on colored lights, short press to turn on white lights, long-press-while-rotating to change temperature. (I think.) It's possible to memorize the instructions, but until then, you better not lose the booklet. You also should keep a clean desk, lest you accidentally lose the remote, as I'm prone to do.• Integration with other products: 9/10. I'm specifically referring to the over-the-monitor webcam that I have. Since the top of the light bar is flat, with no buttons, I was able to place my webcam over the "pro" light bar with no issues. My webcam is small, so it doesn't block out many of the colored LEDs.• Colored lights, GIVEN MY NEEDS: 3/10. Given the angle and height of my desk, I approach from the side, and then sit down in my chair facing my monitor. As I do that, I end up looking down at the light bar. If the colored LED lights at the top are turned on, then I end up looking directly at those lights, which feels too bright, hurts my eyes just a little, and disrupts my circadian rhythm in the evening. The colored lights were unfortunately not dimmable, as far as I could tell.--Now, here's my review of the "BASIC" light bar:• Quality: Again, 10/10. Fewer features, but half the price. Still very well-manufactured.• Remote control: N/A. There is none.• Ease of use: 10/10. The power/brightness/temp buttons are all at the top, because unlike the "pro" bar, there are no colored LED lights at the top, so you now have space for buttons at the top. These buttons are so much easier than the complicated, minimalist remote that comes with the "pro" bar.• Integration with other products: 1/10. This is unfortunately due to the previous point, where the power/brightness/temp buttons are at the top. The buttons are centered, which makes sense. But now I can't put my webcam above the light bar and centered, because then it presses down on the power button. After some experimentation, I now have this awkward situation where my webcam is way off to the side, with a command strip to hold it in place at the top corner of my monitor, so now my colleagues are looking at my right cheek, instead of straight at me. I also no longer look like I'm making eye contact when I speak. Oh well.--For my very specific needs, I would give both light bars a solid 9/10, because neither fit my use case perfectly. But both are very high-quality, so I do recommend them. I just suggest you think about which one suits you better.

Good value
I have been wanting a GoPro for some time to use in fast video shooting applications. However, the price was just too high for the time I would use it. I did some Amazon searching for various alternatives and decided on the Akaso Brave 4. I was impressed by the fact that it could also serve as a webcam and had gyroscope image stabilization, along with adjustable field of view. I'm not that into action and sports photography but the number of accessories was impressive as well.I received the camera and was really impressed with the packaging. It offers a great way to store the camera and accessories. The image quality is quite good. I noticed that the color is a bit amber under my LED lighting (even with adjusting color temperature) but it looks great in daylight. That is a minor problem because it can be fixed in video post production. Low light performance is not as good as a webcam but more light solves that problem as well. It took me a a couple of tries to get to the setup menus but they work well and give plenty of options. The only thing I really don't like is the fact that the battery cover is not attached to the body. It makes it very easy to lose.Otherwise, it is a great and very affordable alternative to much more expensive action cameras.

Really easy to use & worked for my baby
I’m using it with my 4 months old baby and it really help us for his sleep. It’s really easy to use. You can carry it everywhere. I really like the size and design. Only thing- we’re using it day/night when he’s sleeping and need to charge every day. Battery life would have been better.

Clear Video
I purchased this originally at Best Buy, but I decided to return it once I found it on Amazon for $10 cheaper. The webcam works just like it should. Very clear video, and the included software is pretty neat to use. I mostly use it on Skype to make video calls, and the built-in mic and the video quality is superb.Side Note: People with laptops might not like how the camera mounts onto the monitor (of course you can set it on anything you want). The mount is not a clip or an actual mount. You can adjust the angle, but for the most part, you are just setting it on top of the monitor. It is very easy to knock off so I would only use it on a desktop.

Best value for USB ring light
# Included low resolution webcam photo comparisons of different settings (no light, max brightness 3200K color and 6500k color)Overall:- good value for money- remote is easy to use- adjustable brightness and color makes this light versatile for different lighting situations- appears to be brightest on the warm settings (my opinion, I don't have a lumen measurement instrument). How I use it: I opted to use the clip mount on the top of my monitor. I have thin bezel monitors, so I may end up using the tripod eventually as the clip sits a little on top of my monitor screen. It's nice they included both so I have options! I also used zip ties to mount the remote to my monitor stand so it's always in the same place and easy to use. I've found this very convenient to turn it on and off during the day. I do not recommend leaving this light on during the day; just turn it on for video calls and off when you're done. You may also want to mount it so that it doesn't reflect in your glasses if you wear glasses.

Works great. Use this in my living room. Lights up the whole room very well. 3 dimming levels are very nice as well. Would definitely recommend it.

Makes it easy to use my ear buds.
The cable works as described and allows me to connect my ear buds to my USB port on my desk top where it's easy to get at.
