Got this for my 6yr old niece and she was so happy. She doesn’t have a mobile phone yet so this is more like an alternative since it takes pics and at the same time has games on it. Don’t expect too much on the quality of the pictures since they’re more like thermal paper than picture paper. It can save photos and videos if you run out of the paper. Not sure if there are alternatives out there for paper.

i love that it has a app that can fine tune the picture.

I've had this camera for a couple weeks now and I'm in love. I'm glad I decided to go with this, just seemed to be the best option no wires or cord! Easy set up and I love the fact its on a cloud server. The batteries are still working and I've had it on during days when the motion sensor is constantly on. I run a business so it was working hard :) The only thing I would say i don't like is the distance for the night vision to capture motion.

The only thing I wonder about is long term use .... if that is not a problem a REAL 5 star product/ today I learned you can click on any camera /click on area and zoom in /like a car or persons face wow! WiFi is not perfect but all systems are buggy on wireless BUT this has top quality view and color and night is outstanding. the FPS seems to be slow I think its 30fps divided x4 /still learning how to set motion and other features/already upgraded Firmware on the NVR easy d/l restart solved some distance issues with camera in back of property / for the money ITS GREAT! its not junky /quality cameras dual antennas /we will see as time pass if they hold up/ here comes winter!

Purchased two of these but so far only have put up one.Purchased the battery version this way when the power goes out the cameras are still active as long as your router and modem are active. Our modem and router are on a UPS or a uninterrupted power supply so as long as the power the modem and router are working the video will the recorded when the cam motion sensor detects someone there.My complaint is the mounting bass which is screw to the wall the mounting holes go horizontal but the studs in the garage are vertical. To make sure the two screws were in solidly mounted the base sideways. Not the best mounting because what is the bottom comes a bit away from the base.Those who designed this should have considered putting another vertical hole in it as well, that the bracket could be mounted to a vertical 2 x 4 stud.Will be also adding a DC power adapter with a smart plug to occasionally top off the charge on the battery so it's always fully charged.According to ring you can't do this but I have already tried it and it works fine but the DC adapter that's available is a little too strong so you have turn off the power to prevent the battery from being overcharged.

Just to be able to see my new great great grandson when he is born .my son installed it and showed me how to work it when he is here next week

Being able to run this entirely wirelessly with the solar panel is priceless. That combined with remote panning means you'll never need to climb a ladder to adjust or recharge this. The included cloud features to access the last 7 days of videos without an added fee are also great. Very impressed.

for a point and shoot economical digital gives good quality pics as compared to ther old expensive slr that I own simple to use easy to download to computer or printer
