works nice but has an issue with 2.4ghz wifi networks
Purchased for use with my newborn when I place her down in crib in the nursery. Camera works nice but I noticed shortly after setup that half my IoT devices like TVs, light bulbs, electric plugs/switches, etc were not working right in the house. My router does both 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi. Many older, cheaper, or IoT devices still use 2.4GHz to communicate and this camera/remote also uses 2.4GHz but it is NOT WiFi so it interrupts WiFi signals in the area. I was eventually able to figure this out and saw that the device sits on channel 1 of 2.4GHz so your solution for your router is to move it to Channel 11 or Channel 6. If you live in an apartment building with competing signals this won't work well.

Great switch for the price
The switches are packaged with everything you need for installation. The switch has 4 wire leads, so you will have to use wire nuts to connect them to your wiring (the wire nuts are provided). You must have a neutral wire in your wall box for these switches to work (older homes usually don't have this).Wifi connectivity is 2.4 GHz only. I have a Ubiquiti access point that runs both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and it was not necessary to turn off the 5 GHz. These switches will work manually in case the WiFi is out.Setup was super simple with the ‘Smart Life’ app. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Connection experience is positive. No issues.
I took a leap of faith buying two Elgato Keylight Airs after reading the negative reviews on Amazon. I have no issues with connection issues.My network has a 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wifi band with the same network name. It’s reported here that the Keylight Air may have problems connecting to the 2.4Ghz band when the 5Ghz is using the same network name. It didn’t happen to me.All the best to you if you purchase it. It’s a good well made product product.

setup
To save some time and frustration, make sure to set up the doorbell and app according to the manual before mounting it to the house (connecting the doorbell via the included USB cable to a computer with monitor and mouse). Also, make sure your router/wi-fi supports 2.4 GHz (mine did, but was currently configured only for 5GHz). I had trouble getting the app/doorbell to connect to my router. The Lorex support people tried to help, but in the end, my internet provider had to configure my router to allow both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Once that was done and I could select the 2.4GHz option, installation was easy peasy.

incredible picture at a great price
the picture is incredibly clear in light or dark. motion detection is quick and alerts cone immediately. sound pickup is great. i didn't realize this requires a 2.4ghz router and doesn't work with a 5ghz, but luckily, i had a wifi extender that transmits in 2.4, so that worked

Only good for gaming.
Good for gaming. Don’t expect using this for calling since it’s not a Bluetooth headset and requires a 2.4ghz usb dongle.

Turning off 5Ghz is not required
Kasa is not affected by the 5Ghz signal like other switches which is awesome as it’s impossible to turn off 5Ghz on some systems. Set up is pretty straight forward as you bounce between the WiFi settings, Kasa and Alexa Aps. The switch names did not transfer to Alexa like the Kasa outlets but you can name them later. In Kasa schedules you can use sunset or sunrise functions which is really nice. This is a well engineered product!

Far exceeded expectations
Super easy install and works really well without have to have some home based system. If you have problem with connecting the app and devices, just search how to install 2ghz and 5ghz on youtube.
