I am very happy with my sound&sleep machine. I set it on meadow and the sound of the crickets cancels outthe ringing in my ear

With my sleep machine I sleep like a baby now. I live in an apartment and I had been awakened many times by my uncaring and unthoughtful neighbors most every night until I plugged this miraculous noise killing machine in! It's awesome!

How did we ever live without our sound machines? Not easily I tell you. Living in a large apartment complex with people coming and going at all different hours of the day and night created a very stressful environment for our dog and then for us. I have a super friend who gifted us our first sound machine to hopefully help our dog live and sleep happier. She bought one for her anxious dog and saw a huge improvement so she sprinkled some gold dust on us. It worked wonders! Not only did it help our dog with all the foot traffic but I was sleeping deeper than I had for a very long time. All of the sounds are professionally done and the quality really shows.My son asked for only one item for his Birthday... his own sound machine. Our home is soothing because of this marvelous machine(s).Last week my machine had stalled. We followed the reset procedures in the manual and it still didn't work. My son emailed Adaptive Sound Technologies customer service support and they promptly replied requesting our phone number. They called me the very next morning and said they thought the memory card had failed and would be sending a replacement card in the mail with easy instructions.The prompt response by both phone and email is nothing short of amazing. Absolutely top notch customer care.

I have used this machine for two years, almost daily, without problems. I work the night shift so I need to be able to sleep during the day. I bought it to mask the sounds of children playing outside my bedroom window. After I started using it, I began to sleep like it was nighttime slumber. Even with my own children running through the house yelling and playing, I never awoke due to sounds occurring outside my bedroom. This machine played for 7-8 hours at a time during my sleep time for nearly two years. Now it plays for 15-30 minutes nightly. Either way, there have been no problems with sound quality or volume control and I have never had it stop working.

i bought the ecotones asm 1002 when amazon had them on their gold box sale. what a deal, this unit has the most realistic sounds of any white noise machines that i have bought, and i have bought many different models from different manufactures. the adaptive sound electronics raises or lowers the volumne according to the amount of ambient noise is in the room so all you hear is the ecotone 1002. i was so impressed with the quality of the realistic sounds that i bought 2 additional units for my bedroom. all three are set on the rainfall selection and the richness set to medium level which adds thunder to the sound mix. the additional thunder is added at total random times and are of different intensity and sound just like a real thunderstorm. i have the three units located at different locations and heights in the room so the effect is like being in the middle of a storm. it so pleasing that sleep usually comes pretty fast and undisturbed (note) there is no big bang like you get if lighting strikes close to your location just rumbling of distant thunder with some being a little louder and longer than the others. if i turn all three units on at the same time the thunder doesn't all rumble at the same time, it's all random for each machine when they are going to produce thunder. i'm guessing there are between 10 to 20 different thunder sounds so repeating sounds don't happen very often when your in the medium selection of the richness mode, there are times when ten or fifteen minutes will go by before one of the machines will produce thunder.i haven't tried any of the other sound stories yet because i'm so impressed with the rainfall one. i bought one for my sister and she uses the ocean sound story and loves it (she's scared of thunderstorms).i highly recommend this unit, it as close to the real thing as you can get without getting wet!!!
