There are lots of reviews of this camera, and I can confirm most of what has been said (clear menus, good quality photos and videos, interchangeability with GoPro, etc). The accessories are high quality, and one of the reasons I got this camera (I didn't know what accessories I would need and didn't want to get nickel-and-dimed later on). The camera is a good value. However, I do want to point out one of unsavory practices that makes all of the reviews on Amazon suspect. Akaso encloses a card in the package asking for an Amazon review. In exchange for sending a screenshot of the review, they send you a choice of an accessories bundle, charger/batteries, or 32GB microSD card. Borderline OK so far, but the card has a request at the bottom: "Please do not mention or post this card in your review". I will send in a screenshot of this review to see if Akaso honors their pledge, despite my mentioning the card, and I'll update my review accordingly. Keep this practice in mind as you read reviews of this camera.-------Update to my review: after posting the review and sending a screenshot to Akaso, they promptly sent me the upgrade kit with all sorts of attachments (wrist, head straps, adapters galore, tripod, extension rod, etc). It was really quick, and the products are good quality. I give Akaso credit for sending this even though I posted a less-than-positive review. I've upgraded from 3 to 4 stars. I still think they should change their card so it *doesn't* request that I not mention the card, but it's a good product with good customer service.

We purchased a set of these cameras a few months ago and they’ve worked very well. We live in Southern California so we have a lot of rain, sun, and in the morning we get an occasional light frost. They’ve been able to perform well with these conditions. Night vision is great and clear. Motion detection can be adjusted to sensitivity liking. The one thing that is a bit off is the battery life. We only change every few months but the reader is sometimes off and we can’t always tell if it’s about to die. Other than that, great product for a great price!

For the price, the picture quality and video quality are amazing. Comes with a completely waterproof case and water resistant remote, along with two batteries and a handful of other accessories. Excellent purchase

 I am a professional photographer & own a LOT of trail cameras. The #1 thing you need to know about this camera is that it lives up their claims. The #2 thing you need to know is YOU NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.#3- refer back to #2. This is a fantastic camera with incredible photo & image quality - and the simHERO wireless upload are impeccable. Don’t wing your way through the setup - READ and you will have great success & won’t need customer service. Also - understandably different features have different trade offs. You won’t be recording 1 minute videos at the highest resolution and having them sent to your phone remotely. The higher the video quality - the shorter the remote upload. Same with photos - if you want 12MP delivered instantly to your phone - you won’t get as many images and the camera recovery time between recorded images is longer. So - if you want the highest quality images and video recorded to the memory card - disable wireless. If you want the candy of instant images to your cell phone (or other ftp/email etc) then the lower the quality - the longer + more images. (And the low quality isn’t bad at all! Completely depends on what your purpose is). Can’t beat the features for the price by a long shot!

If you are not carrying both the batteries then expect to shoot only few videos and even the picture quality is average only . But it may be value for money.It’s only good in bright sunlight and not for little darker evening or night

Don't expect that it will bring the same quality as expensive one (GoPro or Sony cams), but it's great for regarding its price tag.Actually, it's better than I expected. I use it as black-box-cam for bike riding, and its quality is more than enough.

It a great picture. Just know that to get its max features (the app on your cell) you need to be in Wi-Fi range which isn’t possible for what I use it for. Otherwise it works great.
