Finally a battery camera that works!
This system is the third I've purchased. The previous systems didn't work for detection and/or "waterproofing" and were returned. This system does the proper PIR detection and more importantly to me meets the waterproofing requirements. We had a very wet July this year and it maintained its waterproof integrity.

Great little camera. Great video with a couple thi
I am giving this camera a solid 4 stars. There are somethings that are good and some that aren’t necessarily bad, but I wish were done differently. I own the Akaso V50 Pro and the V50 Elite so I have something to compare it against. The Good: I like that this camera has so many different settings available to the user. The resolution options are huge. The V50 Pro is much more limited in what it allows even though the camera should be able to physical record the same as the Elite up to 4k 30 fps. The Elite allows you to zoom up to 8x from what I can see. It is just a digital zoom and only works with image stabilization off, but it is a great option to have. I think the menu setup is well done and intuitive. The only parts that aren’t the most intuitive to some people is the press and hold functions of the shutter button and the side up and down buttons. Those long presses control the WIFI, Bluetooth and allow you to get into the menu when only using buttons with the waterproof case on. The camera seems built well with a nonslip texture. It is lighter than the V50 Pro. The remote works well and pairs fine, although I could not get the voice control to work at all. I read the manual multiple times and I’m not sure what I’m missing but it doesn’t work. The video quality is great but depends on the mode. I personally like using 2.7k 30 fps on most things. It saves some space on the SD card and I can’t notice a difference on nearly all screens and the stabilization seems better than 4k. 4k 60 fps worked well but you really need a tripod or gimbal to use it because there really are no options to change hardly any settings when this mode is selected, and image stabilization doesn’t work in this mode either. It is very shaky without a gimbal in 4k 60 fps. The file sizes are huge in this mode and I’m not 100% sure if it is a true 60 fps or a upscaled 30 fps. It seems to be the latter. This camera also has better options than the V50 Pro for slow motion. It also seems to work just fine with a 128 GB card. I like that this model uses a more standard waterproof case that is used by most manufacture’s cameras of this type. The V50 pro has a unique case and if it breaks while on vacation you might be out of luck trying to find a case in a pinch, which happened to me with my V50 Pro on vacation in Mexico. The latch broke but I had bought an extra case for that very reason. The video color between the two cameras is nearly identical. Lastly, there is a YouTube video out there showing that the Elite video has greener hues to it, but I think they must have had the setting to vivid or something. That is not and issue at all if it is set correctly. The color is nearly identical to the V50 pro.The Not as Good: My one biggest fault with this camera is the battery. I have the V50 pro and another branded action camera that is much cheaper, but not nearly as good, and they all use the same battery. I have many batteries to use between the two, but this camera has a different shaped battery. It is physically bigger, so I thought it might last longer but nope it is still 1050mAH and may actually not last as long as my V50 Pro. That is not scientific at this point so I’m going to say it is equal since I was playing around with it quite a bit. It is frustrating that they would even think to make it different from what seems to be standard on a lot of these action cameras. Another observation I have is the audio. It isn’t bad, just different. It has much louder audio recording than the V50 Pro which definitely helps inside the case, but it isn’t as clear as the V50 Pro. It almost sounds mono and not stereo. That probably isn’t true, but it is the best way I can describe it. The V50 Pro audio is much quieter but very clear. H.265 doesn’t seem to make much of a difference in file size like it should but I have this problem on every action camera like this. Next observation, just like my other models of action cameras, 1080p is not that good and it should be. I don’t get why manufactures can’t get this right. A cell phone in 1080p produces great, clear video and is all I use on my newer cell phone made by a certain fruit. It is very clear and saves on a lot of space. For many videos you don’t need much better than 1080p but many of these action cameras look like it is really 720p or lower. This is the reason I have to choose at least 2.7k for great video and sometimes I compress them on my computer with Handbrake software to save space if the video isn’t incredibly important. The other famous name brand action camera also produces great video in 1080p like my phone. Another thing worth noting is I think the V50 Pro may be ever so slightly better in low light. Lastly is the voice control like I mentioned earlier. I just could not get it to work. The remote worked great otherwise though.Overall it is a great camera for the money, especially if you grab it on sale. I’m going to somehow need to buy more batteries to make it better since I can’t use my extra batteries. If you need all the extra control and 4k 60 fps, then buy this one. If you are fine with the most common resolutions the V50 Pro may be the better option because it is around $20 less. I like both for different reasons and will switch off between the two depending on what I am doing.

Good camera, decent image quality and a good range
Good camera, decent image quality and a good range for the PTZ function. You can view the stream using any software, you don't have to use the built-in web-ui since it supports ONVIF, RTSP and multicast streams. I haven't gotten the multicast to work without the built-in web UI yet but that may be a problem on my side.Works fine as a baby monitor with any number of baby monitor apps from the App- or Play store. One downside is that most of those apps don't take into account that they should re-establish the connection if it gets lost for some reason so sometimes you lose the connection for no reason (wifi interference, you name it) and no app will automatically restore it. I wired mine to prevent this issue and it's been working fine ever since. Some cameras you receive will indicate POE support on the package: This camera DOES NOT support POE, regardless of what the box claims it does.

Very nice camera, although could do with a better
Not the most intuitive to use, a bit fiddly and takes time to get used to, but is fun to use.I've been semi-looking for a camera for outdoor activities, since it's a hobby and I want to capture those moments, but due to limited travel in the last two years, nothing was really done about it. I've not tried this extensively in all situations, such as height, water, etc, but I have gone out walking with it, just general activity, and it's been quite nice to use. I do want to use this for activities like skydiving, snorkelling, etc and see how well it does as well as get some footage for a nice memory.I read that the previous model of this suffered from lack of image stabilisation. This doesn't seem to have such a big issue. Is it perfect? No, but is it good and reliable? Yes, it is.4K, 30 FPS seems like a good feature, and it is for those who want it, but for me, I'm sticking with 1080p, 60 FPS (or more). I don't really need 4K footage and 1080p drains a lot less power, lasting practically twice as long, so that's something to keep in mind. There's no memory card included, unfortunately, so I do recommend getting a large capacity memory card (or multiple if you're out a long time before you get to back up the footage.)I think a better battery for longer duration would be even better, since this is barely a day out's worth if you don't have a power bank with you.Overall, this is a very good camera unit and I do think it's suitable for outdoor activities in general. £249.99 isn't cheap, but then other reliable brands like GoPro are even more expensive, so this is pretty good in value I'd say.

Christmas edition prograce kids camera a good buy
I like this little camera. It’s great for kids. It’s easy to use and simple enough to figure out.I like the size of it and how it fits in your hand. I haven’t tried it underwater yet though so I don’t know how that works. The picture quality is ok, not great, but if it’s just for kids to play with, no complaints really. Video does ok as well, not spectacular images but works for the purpose.

Great little camera, lots of options, great value,
The media could not be loaded.
Pros: I think the camera is unmatched for its value and performs beyond my expectations. I have used in car, on my kayak and paddle board in the waterproof case, on my beach cruiser and have mounted it to my tripod . All of the necessary attachments come with the camera. Pictures are clear and sharp, records sound nicely. Wrist band with the remote is very handy also for turning on and off the video and for taking snapshots. Love the connection to my phone to review and download and use as a remote.Cons: I find navigating the menu troublesome at times and think that it could be made more user friendly. I found the instructions that came with camera giving instructions to connect to wi-fi and link to phone were hard to follow. I found a video online posted by another user that made sense out of it all. The color of the buttons on the remote are in my opinion counter intuitive. Red is for photos and grey is for video, I would generally associate Red with record. I unfortunately pressed the wrong button a few times and missed the opportunity to capture my subject but now I know. In conclusion: You can't go wrong with this purchase, a lot of bang for the buck! Has been serving me well. I give it a big thumbs up!
