Great monocular— easier than binocular!
Our home backs up to a wildlife preserve I was obsessed with having a closer look at them.we had various cheap binoculars. I love this monocular as it’s easy to adjust and see far off crystal clear. For the price and function, I’m very satisfied with it. Very nice case and stand as well.

Expectations exceeded!

I am extremely happy with this purchase! This is my first monocular and I am so glad I got it. It is extremely easy to use and I love how compact it is making it very portable and easy to have "on the go". The magnification is super and not complicated to adjust. The picture quality through the lenses is super clear and crisp. I can't wait to continue to use these!

Great little scope!
I thought myself very lucky to find the Roxant mini monocular. Most of the others I saw were either too expensive, too big, or didn't have good ratings. The Roxant on the other hand sounded ideal. Good quality and great size for my needs of target shooting and all around casual nature use, and at a reasonable price to boot. Upon receiving the monocular I was not disappointed, the other reviews I'd read were spot on. It feels very durable and does a great job! It's a very very handy item to have! One of the other reviews said something about it only being like a 2X? That is just not true. The exceptional viewing capabilities and brightness are just as advertised. I believe this item deserves a 5 star rating for sure.

Great buy for the money
You have to know what you are getting before you are disappointed. The device is 4.5x base zoom with a 3x digital zoom. That is too much base zoom to expect to be able to walk around with it in front of your face. However on a steady tripod or from a sitting position it works amazingly well. You cant beat the cost to capability ratio on this item. In my limited experience i would list it as close to Gen2-2+. The IGen 20/20 is a Gen 3-3+ equal type digital monocular but it is a lot more money. A bunch of the guys at the range have different toys like this. I would not switch to any of them for the price. Now some have night vision rifle scopes (ATN) and those are pretty cool but cost becomes an issue. I am incredibly happy with this purchase and it will tide me over until I can afford a FLIR scope.

Great Product!
I’m in the press box scoring for high school baseball games. I use the mini monocular to see the jersey numbers on the players in the outfield. I like the design, and the size. The price is extremely fair and competitive for such a quality build. I’ve passed this on to several people. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Night Owl vs Bushnell Equinox
I went on a hog hunt last weekend with both the

Night Owl iGEN 20/20

monocular and this Equinox monocular. On the surface, they both work similarly; but, the performance difference was actually pretty amazing. Before going into the comparison, let me give a quick overview of the Equinox:- The resolution is actually pretty low - but it does work fine for spotting animals in most conditions. Although it doesn't hold a candle to traditional night vision, I remember a time when the same thing was true of digital vs traditional cameras. :)- The range is very good. I sat between 2 ponds that were both 100 yards away and was able to easily scan both areas with this monocular.- The digital eyepiece is extremely bright for use at night - even on the lowest setting. I resorted to using my left eye when looking through the monocular so I could still see through my scope after looking away.- The IR was necessary even in fairly right conditions; but, once again, the rage was excellent - and I was able to leave the IR on the lowest setting.- The battery life is poor compared to other devices - but that should probably be expected based on how much this little device has going on.- The Equinox seems very sturdy, and I suspect it will last for years - it's also very easy to use once you figure out the basics.Having said all that, this Bushnell absolutely blows the Night Owl out of the water on performance. The Night Owl is a fun little toy - but isn't usable at all when compared to this Equinox. We were lucky to see just a few yards with the Night Owl, and the visible IR light on the unit was noticeably brighter and more visible - which isn't great for hunting.Overall, I would highly recommend this unit, even though it definitely isn't perfect. When put up against the cost of traditional night vision, it's an absolutely clear value that many night hunters will appreciate.

Small. But night vision works well
It's pretty small in your hand. And I wouldn't call this a monocular. The Backlit screen is pretty bright and too big to actually hold it up to your eye and see anything. This is more like a small, night vision video camera. I got it really cheap and it does what it claims to do so I feel like I got an amazing deal

Exceptional value for the money
For those reviews provided that indicate all they see is black and or can't focus, I urge you to read the directions. Purchased this product a few weeks ago and tested yesterday for distance and clarity of picture. When operated IAW the provided directions, the Monocular performs to standard. I wanted something compact, light and with zoom capability and this product provides just that.

great optical performance, very rugged...poor ergo
well, it's bright, sharp and... much heavier and bulkier than the specs suggested to me... i've pored over reviews, photos and specs before deciding on my purchase, yet was still surrprised of its bulk and heft once it arrived and i got to hold it....in fact I almost gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because for me, the focus adjustment is very awkward while looking through it due to rather tight/heavy action and very unfortunate placement just above the viewing ocular.... lastly, i found it difficult to keep it from 'blacking out' so they seem to be very sensitive to eye placement.....I gave this monocular to a friend as a gift soon after purchase because of these issues....however, based on the many reviews by others, including those performed in the field and under rugged conditions, this monocular is very tough so I didn't want to rate it unfairly low... the brightness and sharpness is very good indeed.... just not the right item for me and what I'm looking for.... if you have the chance to do so, try to handle this monocular first hand in a store or via a friend who might own one before squeezing the trigger on the buy button...I still might pick up the more compact 8x
