I love using my phone to change the colors on this
I love using my phone to change the colors on this. It provides awesome customized accent lighting to a room. The light is not bright enough to illuminate an entire room by any means, but it offers a nice hue in whatever color you want as an accent.

Loose piece rattling around inside......
I received my Philips Hue yesterday. I immediately heard something inside rattling around. Knowing this was not a good sign, I plugged it in and let it charge for the amount of time suggested. It maybe would have worked without doing that, but I didn't try. After the charging was complete I tried it out. Everything seems to be working as it should, however, I'm not sure I want to keep it knowing that something loose or broken is inside. I may request a new one and send this one back. I'm not sure what to do?

use: accent lights; extra light in low lit areas of the housepros: beautiful colors; HomeKit pairing is a breeze; easy to usecons: charging cord sometimes a struggle to plug in and out of the unit

you will be disappointed, but it works well as acc
Although it isn't very bright, the unit provides portable accent lighting to any room. Use it in place of candles in the bathroom, or on a porch or patio. If you expect enough light to read, you will be disappointed, but it works well as accent lighting.
