Impressed so far!
Very excited to have received my new binoculars. They are bigger and much nicer than the ones I had. I purchased them to look at the birds that visit or garden, and to view the stars and planets at night on the first clear night i get. Can't wait to try them out for that.

My 2 year old loves this. It's clear they modified the kit from 9 planets though, but no worries. I thought it would be prepainted. But we are saving the painting activity for later. He loves naming off the planets and twirling them around - a big hit! Caution though - he also loves pulling them off...could be a choking hazard if unwatched.

A complete worthwhile investment.
I purchased this item on a whim as I've always looked at the night sky. Not only was the 70/700 reasonably priced, but it was packaged to ensure its undamaged arrival, all the accessories were present and the assembly instructions were competent and easy to follow. This telescope has worked beyond my expectations! Even allowing me to photograph distant planets and stars. This is a worthwhile investment for anyone,any age who wishes to look to the universe around us.

My son loves it....
This is a great item for toddlers / kids who are obsessed with planets. My son loves it and he even colors them. Great fun activities at home!

Good for gifting
Nice for kids who are developing interest in planets and stars. I got it as a birthday gift for 6yrs old and he loved it. Functions well

Fun little project
The pieces are a little difficult to snap together but my 7 year old is really into space/planets and had a blast putting this together and painting it.
