The only reason I chose this model over another was a person put in the review that they were way back in center field and could read the lips of the picture having a conversation...Well, maybe a bit extreme, or maybe the beer had already kicked in. Anyway... the product was good, just maybe not what I was expecting. I have a 20x50 already and thought this would make a big difference...maybe should have went with the x80. Shipped out same day and I got it two days later. The product is good...just maybe I should have done a little more investigating versus looking at these reviews.

Very good light for what I wanted it to do. I don’t think this would work with larger pictures, but 3’ x 3’ works just fine. I liked the first one so much I got a second one!

One might wonder why anyone would get a camera like this when smartphone cameras are so good. Certainly this is a great option for a child who wants to take photos and doesn’t have a phone yet. However, I like it because of the 4x optical zoom. No matter how good the iPhones are, you can still get a better shot when you are able to get closer with an optical zoom.The photos are beautiful and there is more than enough resolution for snapshots up to 8x10s, no problem.Oh, and it’s only around $80. Great buy.

You'll find that the manufacturer of the hard drive (HD) you receives varies, and is a 5400 rpm. I only give it a 4 star because of the problems in installing the HD and operating system:1. Hardware installation is relatively easy with the correct tools, but be aware that this HD is thinner than the OEM HD that came with the macbook. This doesn't affect the ability of the HD to fit in or run on the macbook, but it may appear to be incorrect, so don't be discouraged.2. Installing OS X on the hard drive is not possible without OS X 10.5 or higher (i.e. 'Tiger' or earlier will not recognize the HD during the install, and will not allow reformatting and described below).No matter what OS X you use, once you've installed the HD, you'll have to go into the 'Disk Utility' and reformat/partition the HD by erasing it. I ended up having to buy the Lion (10.7) OS X and installing that, after first formatting/partitioning the HD by erasing it in the 'Disk Utility' option, before the OS X could find the HD. After the HD is reformatted and found by the OS X, installation is normal. I spent hours researching and talking with Apple tech to discover this, and I'm only assuming this erase tactic would have worked on Leopard.All of this only takes a few minutes to complete, but it will take hours/days to get the HD up and running in your MacBook without this knowledge. Funktioniert wunderbar, bei 1440x900 auch ohne Stromzufuhr via USB, höhere Auflösungen habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert. Audioübertragung nutze ich ebenfalls nicht, wurde unter win10 pro x64 aber direkt erkannt.

If your speaker jack is no longer working, I can attest this is a good solution to get audio again. Works in Mac OS X. Music and speech sounds pretty good. But it's a bit quieter with not quite the same sampling as the Mac soundcard. Most people won't notice this. If you are an audiophile who edits or listens to lots of music, you may notice a difference as I did right away. This is a minor criticism because the USB interface has to probably act as a soundcard. A minor, but slightly noticeable difference. Bottonline I like it, its a good workaround. But if you're an audiophile you might notice slightly (very slight) reduced frequency response and about 10-20% less output volume.
