I trust this brand and have these filters in both of my cars, 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2007 FJ Cruiser. I always recommend this brand to my friends/family when asked. Dealers charge basically as much as this filter costs in labor to replace your air filter. For those not mechanically inclined, I totally understand the apprehension to do anything car related on your own. However, replacing an air filter is usually one of the easiest things you can do to your car. Chances are its just a few clips to undo and voila you take out the old and put in the new!

My new one came, today. Found the instructions for their added filter were all but absent, in fact, there were no instructions for the filter, except to soak it then, rinse it. Put it all together, but not sure if it is correct. Don't see how any water goes through it. Will be going to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and ask someone there, how it is supposed to be done. Make SURE you put it on a tray or a stand of some sort, as when I put the lid on the filled tank, it overflowed all over. Finally figured out the charcoal filter thing-y, for which there were NO instructions. Apparently, you have to squeeze the prongs on the top and take off the piece that covers the part that holds the filter, then, put the cover back on. Then what? Found you have to put it in the reservoir with the filter end at the bottom, where the whole thing just sits, with nothing securing it. So, I decided to look at the 1-star reviews....maybe it is this filter thing-y that is the problem with the erratic behavior this seems to have, on occasion. We have a whole house water softener, so, water quality should be no problem. I hope we have as good a time with this Keurig as we have had with our last one, which was the first one ever had....bought years, if not decades, ago.

As always you cannot go wrong with the K&N air filter, as for the increase in horsepower and better gas mileage, I am now getting about 1-1/2 more miles per gallon in my 2007 Chevy Silverado, its not a big increase but that's better than nothing, and as far as the horsepower goes "I cannot tell any difference"

Only surprise was that it comes covered in a light oil. Should last a long time. So far I am happy with it.

My husband was told about this filter so I bought him one for my car. It makes a little difference in gas mileage but the best thing you don't have to change it at all. So far we like it.
