These are bigger than I expected (they're about the size of a softball,but that helps them sound better.USB powered (but no sound over USB) - sound over a standard audio cable.Great for gaming or listening to music. Huge improvement over the monitor's built-in speakers.Even has decent bass for a speaker of its size.

Had this speaker for a year. I have a habit of losing speakers so went through a few. I would rate this as better than some of the high end options. Great battery, sound quality and bass. My mother liked it so much that she kept mine. I am looking forward to buying another one.

Great sound and great bass all at a great price. I’ve been a huge fan of Logitech speakers for many years and own the OG version of this set as well (Z2300). Now at over 12 years old they are still jamming away.With both systems, some equalizer tweaks are needed to get them to sound perfect to my tastes.

I recently purchased a record player as a Christmas gift as well as a small audio table. What I needed were speakers, but nothing that was looking to tear off wall paper or blow ear drums. Something that had great volume and a nice bass. This delivered. They are notably for gamers, but for the price and sound quality, they do the trick. High recommend.

I've written very few product reviews, but after ~6 months of usage, I feel compelled to write one for this product. I placed the sub underneath my desk, encased by two small side walls and the actual wall behind it (not touching any of the three), with the two speakers on either side of my desk top about 4.5 feet apart. This speaker system, for the money, has exceeded my expectations. The bass is superb, more than likely a factor being how it is placed in my room, though I think the sub is very nice. On 50% volume with about 70% bass, a bassy song (EDM or hip hop type bass) will shake things on my desk and hanging on my wall, immediately getting people pounding above and below me as I use these in a dorm. The quality of sound is great, and I love how simple these are to use, as I have taken the speakers in a duffel bag and set them up in under 5 minutes with ease.One of my roommates, a serious audiophile with himself a $1500+ sound system in his room, has complimented these speakers and their power on multiple occasions for the price. At this price point, I'm not sure you can do better. Would buy again and recommend to anybody considering these.

My wife and I recently acquired a condo and I needed a pair of simple, good sounding speakers, for our small living room, with an unobtrusive footprint that wouldn't break the bank. These deliver all of the foregoing. Because it's a condo and the far wall is shared with our next door neighbor, I wanted strong treble and miss with decent but not ground-shaking bass. And that's what I'm getting from these speakers. Every room is different. Mine has textured concrete walls, hardwood floors, and a throw rug that covers about a third of the floor so the room is what might be called acoustically dynamic. These speakers are perfect for such a room. I've read other's reviews about the sound field extension feature. Some dig it, some don't. My take is its perfect for my room. The treble is audibly enhanced, the bass perhaps a bit dimmed but the difference is easily made up for by upping the level of the on-board bass control, and overall I'm hearing it make the music "pop out" a bit more in a pleasing way. Are these true audiophile speakers? Of course not. Not at this price! But are they a strong option for folks who want decent sound, at moderate volume levels, for under a pair of C notes? Definitely. I'll end with they took me literally 5 minutes to unbox, link to by BT, and begin listening, and the black option that I chose (to match my living room's decor) is classy. P.S. Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon just came on. I'm listening to the heartbeat now. If you need booming bass, add a sub, but otherwise I think you'll be surprised at the bottom end from these small speakers. EDIT (new content): What I'm finding is the usefulness of the sound field extension feature is also dependent on the genre of the song and how it was recorded/produced. I'm finding myself experimenting with turning it on and off for specific songs, in combination with the on-board bass and treble controls (which I assume are a classic Baxandall circuit) with positive results. So don't be afraid to experiment - you may find that doing so transforms meh to yeah. :)

These speakers altered my desk set up in a way that I didn’t know was possible. I have a full surround sound Polk audio system in my living room but I prefer listening to everything with these now. Great bass, the soundscape is truly expanded from even what my gaming headset can provide!
