iZeeker is a solid budget choice action cam with s
There’s a lot to like about iZeeker’s new action camera. IZeeker has mainly been known for affordable dashcams to this point, their action camera uses a lot of the same good technology at an affordable price.First, some basics on what you get. The camera itself, 2 batteries and an external charger, a rugged waterproof case, a rugged open skeleton case, and a ton of minor accessories including mounts. The camera of course is the highlight. It shoots at up to an amazing 6k resolution at 30 FPS or 4k at 60 FPS. There are plenty of other resolution options including “standard” high definition 1920x1080 which I do most of my shooting at and I usually run “just” 30 fps there. (There’s also an incredible 120 fps setting at this common 1920x1080 resolution!) It also has both front and back display screens (only one on at at a time or neither). In addition to the external charger it has 2 charging ports, an older USB mini port or the newer USB-C port. You can also transfer data from the card leaving it in the camera by connecting the cable from the camera to a PC rather than removing the microSD card to transfer. If you have adult size hands, you’ll probably want to do camera-cable-pc rather than removing the card as the tiny card is hard to remove from inside the battery area.Using the new USB-C port to transfer files to my laptop, the file transfer was about 1Gb per minute. Some key specs and tests:Running at 1920x1080 with 30fps I get about 2 hours 15 minutes of recording time shooting non-stop with the front and back displays both off. With the rear display on, the battery life drops to about 1 hour 10 minutes.I find the camera and picture quality very suitable for my action cam needs. Right now I’m using it to shoot volleyball tournaments which isn’t “action” for the camera as it’s stationary but the rugged camera and case protect it from balls coming from multiple courts. The camera lens is a good angle for capturing the whole court crisply up close. (A lot of the services that record tournaments for recruits use similar cameras. This is a pretty common application.)One thing you will note is that the higher resolutions (4k and 6k for example) and high framerates (120 fps) need much brighter settings than a standard 1920x1080 with 30fps. You’ll want to think of those high resolutions as “needs daylight.” There are some exposure settings to compensate but indoor video at those resolutions or high frames will be dark and/or grainy. As compared to “name brand” cameras that run 2-3 times this price, the big missing feature is live streaming. But if you can afford $300-500 USD for an action cam, you’re probably not looking for an off brand.I love that at most resolutions, the iZeeker adds a date and time stamp on the video, that’s a huge bonus for my needs. When you shoot a whole weekend of video, it’s really nice to know the time and order of each. The one kind of inexplicable poor comparison area on the iZeeker is the large file size. My “normal” action cam is an old GoPro Hero 3 (yes, I splurged on this a long time ago, it’s served me well). In 1920x1080 video mode (which is 29.97 fps instead of 30) the GoPro file size is roughly 1.1GB for 10 minutes. The iZeeker produces 10 minute files at that same resolution that are 2.2Gb, twice the size. Checking the specs the files show the GoPro recorded at ½ the bitrate as the iZeeker. There both using the same H.264 codec so that’s not the difference and as far as I can tell, there’s no setting to change the bitrate. So, while I can change the bitrate of the recorded files when I edit them on my PC, when recording I need to be prepared that the iZeeker eats memory cards twice as fast as my older GoPro for the same quality. One place where the izeeker file size seems “good” is at 1920x1080 with 120fps where it’s only twice as big files as the 30fps instead of what math suggests could have been 4x bigger. Likewise a “6k” video is only using about 3 times the space as 1920x1080 (both at 30fps).I’m also not a fan of the iZeeker file naming which simply runs consecutively. The GoPro has a neat convention that only starts a completely new file number for a new video and segments in a related video when a video is too long for one file get related file names. The iZeeker also starts over numbering files at 0001 when it encounters a new blank card meaning you’ll have to be careful not to overwrite files when copying from multiple cards to your PC.The iZeeker also supports the H.265 codec. If you’ve paid to install that codec on your Windows laptop or if you are editing and watching your videos on an iPad, h.265 is slighter preferred but by default, use h.264 as it’s more widely supported. It’s the middle of winter here so I haven’t been able to test the iZeeker waterproof case in the water. It seems good and well made and I’ll want to use in in the water this summer but for now, I don’t have any direct experience with it.I did spend a lot of time testing the Android app for controlling the iZeeker and in most ways, I find it as good as the GoPro App. (In one way it’s better because the GoPro app no longer functions correctly for an old GoPro like mine.) The app is easy to connect to the iZeeker once you connect your phone to the iZeeker wifi (in your phone’s wifi settings). The izkeeker app (oddly named YUTUPro) has features to control all the camera settings including video and photo quality. It also can act as a stop start shutter remote button for the camera. Using the app as a video preview and shutter i found that the shutter lag is about .5-1 second for start and stop and that there’s around a total of 1.5 second delay from “real time” to onscreen phone app preview. For that reason you’d want to keep your eye on the real action and leave a second or so slack time starting and stopping at least not to turn anything off too soon. When you exit the YUTUPro izeeker app, you’ll need to remember to go to your phone wifi and recconnect to the normal wifi network. One oddity of the wifi interface, there doesn’t seem to be a physical button function to enter it. You can only start wifi from the izeeker touch screen. That is a slight problem when using the waterproof case. Of course using wifi and the app will drain the izeeker battery faster too although I didn’t do specific battery life tests with it.I also can’t tell if there’s any way to get additional or replacement batteries. The 3.7 1350mah 4.995wh batteries included are a standard spec for other action cams but they look like they might have a slightly different enough size and charging alignment not to be interchangeable. I don’t see any batteries for sale direct from iZeeker or here on Amazon with the iZeeker brand or in the description. You’ll definitely want to get the fastest MicroSD card guy can buy to use with this as the full HD, 2k, and 4k video really require a fast card. The best cards available right now have the “ UHS speed class 3 (U3) “ designation, that’s what you need. Luckily you can pick up a name brand 128Gb card in the US for around $20. That’s the smallest card you’ll want. Once I had a good speed card, I was able to use the iZeeker perfectly with any number of video segments at any size it can capture, izeeker was saving finished files within a second and almost instantly ready to capture the next video. All in all, I think this iZeeker is a solid budget choice action cam. Spend some time getting to know it before you take it out shooting anything important and I think it will deliver good quality video at an affordable price.

Amazing Resolution, Better Motion Sensing Capabili
If you are reading this review that means you don't need me to go into detail about the importance of having a security camera. do you? They do have endless possible use not limited to theft protection, home security, keeping an eye on kids, Baby monitoring, and recording device.Well, Getting back to the review of this product. I bought this camera to install out in my backyard. I was interested in this because it is truly wireless, rechargeable, and long battery life. It is easy to install and the picture quality is amazingly clear. I like that it's not too big and needs just a small space. Practically it is invisible in my backyard but still there. The resolution is great. 1080P HD Live Video and Color Night Vision capture video and images clearly. I have been using the camera for more than a month now ( about 45 days, and didn’t have to charge it yet. I charge it before installing it outdoors. I have installed it under a shed so can’t confirm whether it is absolutely waterproof or not. I do not have utilization for 2-way audio, but it is there if you want to use it indoors. The audio is clear. I love the idea of having support for a memory card so that you don’t have to pay for a cloud subscription. Though, there is a Free 3-Day Cycle Cloud Storage subscription available. You will have to pay if you want to see the video recorded prior to that. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this.Pros:- 1080P HD Live Video- Colored Night Vision- True Wireless Camera- Long Battery Life- Small size- Powerful Functions- 2-Way Audio- Smart Motion Detection- Security Alarm/Siren- Spotlight- Supports Memory CardCons:- None I can see so far

Very happy
I'm very happy with my recent purchase of the Canon Digital Rebel XSi. I had a 35mm Canon Rebel EOS before switching to digital and I'm very glad that they're so similar so I didn't have to learn a lot of new settings. One of my favorite settings for this particular camera that I didn't have before was the macro setting. I can get as close as 3 inches to something and take a clear photograph of it. It makes photographing the garden a lot more fun.The precision focusing and quick flickerflash are bonus items as well. It's so fast and accurate and so far, I've taken well over 2,000 shots and haven't had red eye in any one of them. Most of the time I don't even need a flash since the automatic setting will adjust the light as I need it, including an extended aperture which will give more light in a low light situation as long as I hold the camera very still (or use a tripod). As a portrait photographer, I love this camera as well. Without the flash, I can take a very clear photograph of someone and have their skin tone glow and their eyes clear and focused. With the flash, it doesn't bleach them out and as I already mentioned, red eye has so far not been a concern.I absolutely recommend this camera to anyone wanting to improve their shots. I first used it when it belonged to a friend and loved it. When I was ready to go digital, I asked for the make and model and here I am now, ranting and raving about my new "baby". I'm rarely found without it these days. I love it!

Fragile looking, but it is not, Very tight Fitting
First of all I love Rogue products, they are very well made. but,First Impression, I just got this, it looks very fragile, the plastic foot is held by very little support and easily will break. Also it is very hard to instal on the Hot Shoe because the foot is wider than it should be. Taking it out of the hot shoe is even worst. I had to use a flat screw driver to push it out of the hot shoe. I am sure that they did this since they knew that the plastic will were out over time and loosen but I would say that you will break it off before it loosens up. I would give the foot maybe a week or two to break off.It comes with adaptors to adjust for hight of different popup flashes which is very nice and shows that it was well thought out. But considering the price and the plastic foot I would say it is not worth it. I gave it 3 stars because it works but as a disposable.I have one very important tip for you based on my experience with "The Better Beamer" that dose the same for Speed-lights.Do Not leave this on your camera and then leave your camera around the sun. If the sun hit this thing at the right angle it will act as magnifying glass and melt any thing that is in it's path, be it your camera or table top, or car seat or the unit itself. Ask me how I know that.I tested the flash it works as they said it will. I will update once I have some time with it. Hope this helps.Update No 1: Was deleted see update No 2 and 3:Update No. 2:It appears that the Rogue never was designed to work with Nikon FX cameras. The description says it will have sub par performance with D600 whatever that means. it should just say not for D600.As a DX only product and the fact that Rogue CS rep assures me that it is durable. I have updated my rating to 5 stars for using with D7000.Update No. 3:CS rep today suggested that I should try the D600, it should work. I did. It turned out that the Safari foot was not completely seated in the hot shoe because it was so tight and I did not want to force it. That was preventing the flash from deploying. After seating the foot properly the flash deployed and all is well. According to the CSR they have tested the unit with their D600. And the safari will give you a little over 2 f stop boost with a little wider pattern at 40'. Which is great. While I was at it, I also tried the D800, by pulling up on the safari slightly ( now that I have confidence that it is durable) you can actually allow the flash to deploy.I am assuming that the pattern would be slightly wider and the boost would be a little less for D800 than the D600 since the flash head is closer to the Fresnel lens.So to recap.1: The unit look fragile but it is not, I have been fiddling with it for the last 24 hours and I can tell you it is durable.2: It is tight to install the foot in the hot-shoe but it is designed that way and I can tell it is loosening but it has ways to go so don't give up it is worth it.3: If you use a Better Beamer with your Speed-light you know how valuable it is for bird shooting. This will give you almost the same capability with the built in flash. It is a lot more convenient and lighter, be it less powerful since you relying on your built in flash.4: It almost looks like a small speed light on top of the camera so you don't look like a geek with speed-light and Better Beamer walking around. And thanks to Rogue Customer Service Rep. and his/her patience for not giving up I would be keeping both my Safaris. They are keepers.

Perfect for water fun!
Our 12 y/o had been asking for a camera for a while. We'd been hesitant because we didn't want to make a large investment in one right now. He LOVES this camera!!! And was excited about it from the moment he opened it. He was able to figure it out on his own. It was a lot smaller than I thought it would be; so I was a little nervous at first. I think it looked cheap to me because of the size. However, the quality of this product has exceeded my expectations. Some of the attachments that come with it are cheaper quality, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather the camera be better than the accessories anyway. The quality of photos/videos is crazy for the price. They come out beautifully. The waterproof case is removable. We've taken this camera to the pool (indoor) a few times and it's really pretty cool. I could see older kids who want to film water activities enjoying this too. It does seem to be one of those items your kiddo may be super happy with, but then don't use it as often. That may be because our son takes photos/videos on his phone most of the time. It's just an old phone that he can use w/WIFI - so it's not water resistant. It's almost time for the outdoor pools to open and I can see this product getting a ton of use this summer. So don't let the size - or original opinion you may have at 1st site - discourage you. Take the time to check it out. It really is worth it.I do wish they offered more colors for families w/multiple children to avoid arguments as to who's is who's. I got our other son a different brand solely for that reason.

I've been looking for something like this all my l
The media could not be loaded.
I bought this security camera a couple of months ago and when it came I quickly unboxed to find everything wrapped nicely and securely. Set up was very easy, I downloaded the app on my iPad and barely skimmed the manual, plugged the camera in, connected to wifi, and voila! I bought the 4 pack and placed them in my living room, kitchen, back door etc. This camera has given me a peace of mind when I am away from home. Once I went on a holiday for 4 days and hired someone to cat-sit. Found out through the camera that the person didn't even come the first day to feed my cats, my heart was broken looking at them roaming around looking for food and hearing them meow hungrily (you can hear what's going on at home and in turn you can speak through the app's intercom). After realizing the cat-sitter probably wasn't going to show up that day and it was already dinnertime, I called a friend up who immediately came. She fed and pampered my cats. So at least my cats were fed dinner that day. And I saw through the camera the cat-sitter came the day after that and looked confused as to why the food bowl was full. There are numerous examples in the past two months alone, since I have used these cameras, that they have proved to be life-saving. And it brings the family closer too, my sister sometimes go out of town and we can talk easily whenever she wants to just by accessing the app and locating us in the kitchen for example. Or we use it to check up on what my mom's up to, say cleaning the living room . It's so convenient having them around the house. I have positioned one of the cameras to face outside of my window, so I can see who comes to the house, I have attached a video for you to see. I am so happy with this camera. I bought sd cards for each of them.I do however have suggestions to improve the camera function. If Yi cam developers are reading, my suggestions are below:1. Have an option so the camera can continuously record everything, second to second, onto the sd card, not only when there are movements within the confines of activity region which we have set. Because there was a time I've set the activity region but I realized later that there were areas outside the square that I wanted to see too, but not all the time. Maybe they can send notifications when there are movements within the activity region but everything else is fully recorded anyway if we need to go back and see everything minute to minute.2. The activity region square (there's this square shape which you can enlarge or reduce its size, to mark where exactly you want to be alerted of movements, instead of being alerted by any movement in a certain room). Anyway, the activity region square should be more flexible, I would like it to sometimes be diagonal, as I would like it to avoid a certain door or staircase. So maybe you guys can make the shape of the activity region more malleable (lol lack of a better word to explain), instead of being just flat square.Other than that, a massive THANK YOU for making this product and being so kind as to not have it compulsory that we subscribe to your cloud. Forever grateful.

Excellent performance; well-designed user interfac
I'm impressed with this baby monitor on all counts. It comes with very "upscale" packaging. While that doesn't impact the product per se, it does make a good first impression. The build quality of both the camera and the viewer are both very good. They have a nice, solid feel to them, and all the buttons are clearly labeled. In fact, I was able to get this up and running, and use all the features, without having to look at the manual. I did check out the manual after the fact, and it's very well done -- clearly written and informative. No complaints about performance. The viewer and camera come already paired, but if pairing is needed it's straightforward and simple. The image quality is excellent -- bright and clear in daylight, and pretty decent in low light. Panning and zooming are simple to do. The transmission range is excellent, with the viewer maintaining a link to the camera throughout my house (4 bedroom, 2 story). It even worked fine in the basement (cement walls) and outside on the patio and deck. The audio is clear enough to hear soft sounds if the room is quiet. The temperature readings are accurate. It has all the usual and customary features of a monitor, plus one that I've not come across before: the ability to turn the camera into a night light. I don't think it's something that I'll use a lot, but it's a nice feature to have just in case. I also like that this is not connected to the Internet. While that cuts down on the number of potential features, it makes it much easier to use, more secure, and there's zero loss of the most important features: ability to see and hear what's going on when you're not in the room.It checks all the right boxes for me -- a solid 5 stars.
