We’ve had a 1st gen echo for last 5 years, and it’s still working great. Mostly use for music. This new echo really sounds great and has much richer range. Also hears quieter commands. Unlike many reviews, I don’t think it’s ugly and I like it’s look… of course, that depends on each person. It sounds so good, I may just get another one like it for stereo sound. Very happy with purchase! Oh, and found out there is a separate available rechargeable battery base to move it other places and outside, so there’s another possible plus to this model.

they are gorgeous and it sounds really good the only thing is that the material it not that breathable and it can get kind of sticky

I live in a ground floor apartment underneath some very, very creaky floorboards coupled with some very heavy-footed people on the 2nd floor. When they walk around their bedroom I hear not only their footsteps very loudly, but the knocking and creaking of the floorboards. Before this machine arrived, I was sleeping with ear protection headphones I use at the shooting range. They worked perfectly to drown out the noise, but were not the most comfortable to sleep with. And then this little machine came and changed the whole game. I was dubious that mere sound from this little machine could mask the loud noises from above. I was never so happy to be proven wrong!I picked out my favorite sound, which happens to be the one described as "Chestnut" in the user manual, and turned that thing up as loud as it would go. Instant silence. Or, more like, instant cocoon of soothing sound. I haven't heard a single footstep nor floorboard creak one time since beginning to use this machine. I haven't been awoken at 3 or 4am when my neighbor begins to prepare for work, and I haven't seriously contemplated grievous bodily harm of my landlord for not taking care of their buildings since this machine arrived. The funny thing is, even my cats seem to sleep more soundly now and no longer urgently try to awaken me to feed them.It works, it really, really works!

Really good product for the price. The mouse thumb button is a little too easy to hit, and I'm constantly hitting "back" on web pages. I bought this for my guest room PC, and for the money, its better than expected. Also uses the smaller enter key, and I find myself hitting the "" far too often also.

They are really easy to install and the recognition of the movement is really accurate i have not had any problems with them

I really like how the battery life is super good but it feels strange but I got used to it, excellent if your going to be using a xim apex, I don’t even notice the delay

Bought this for my son and he loves it. Sounds almost as good as our Sonos

I was given a recommendation for this and it did not disappoint. Cancels out lots of sound and is small and easy to use.
