I have a pretty small apartment that has badly set up lighting. So, since it's winter, most of my place is pitch black when I have to get up early to go to work, and the closest working light switch is very much away from my front door. But I have a couple of outlets near the door, and I found these. My mornings are an insane amount better with these. I wish they could be a little brighter, but I see pretty well. I don't have to walk across the place in the dark to turn a lamp on to then get my stuff together and then have to be careful to remember to turn it off. Plus my cat can have a little lighting when I can't get back until dark due to working 12 hours. With these and my programmable lamp for close to my bed, I don't get bummed having to fumble around in the dark every day. At first I thought they didn't work, but you just have to adjust the things that are around them so that the detectors can see you (seems obvious, but it's finicky). Mine work well. I'm extremely grateful.

For the price I would like the clear light but it works well

I only received these yesterday, so I can't speak on the longevity. However, I purchased them to install under the bookcase of my desk, as I couldn't see my keyboard. I used 3 installled evenly over the desk and they put off just the right amount of even light for what I needed with no glare. I like that they're dimmable and have a remote. I also like the auto shutoff feature so that the batteries aren't wasted when not in use.I was dreading install under the assumption that I'd have to program the remotes to work each light. No programming needed. The remotes are pre-programmed to operate all of the lights. Which is probably why some people are having issues with the remotes operating other nearby lights. If you hold them close and pointed directly at the light you want to control, you could possibly avoid that issue.Also, regarding complaints about difficulties with the battery compartment, there are small locking tabs that need to be aligned with slots before twisting them on. Find those and it's less difficult.A suggestion about the adhesive not working... maybe try adhering the battery covers in place and then attaching the lights/batteries the next day so that there's less weight pulling on the adhesive while it sets.I like them, other than I wish they came in an exterior color other than white. I was looking for a brushed chrome to match the bookcase lights and hardware on my desk, but they're otherwise fine so far.

Work well for movie night. Takes a bit to fine the sweet spot but once you got it right then it’s all fun!

Not super bright but the motion light comes on upon entering the bathroom and allows low light visibility. Perfect for my needs.
