Noise cancellation is not that good. Your voice will not be audible to other person while driving scooty or bike. Battery backup is amazing. Sound is good.

Very good price, easy installation, a lot quieter than the old one I replacedI learned the sensors to reverse the door if something crosses the beam has to be installed before anything can be programmed.I like having the battery backup up too

Really great product. We have this installed at our front gate and have had it up there for 3months and the battery is still running good.

I would give this five stars, except that it doesn't have a battery backup which would kick in if the power went out (which it occasionally does. That said, we have held off purchasing a replacement sound machine for our old one for years because their volumes were all too soft. This one has a great rich sound and can get quite a lot of volume out of it. We cannot sleep without our sound machine. Have been using our old one for over a decade. And as we introduce others in our family to sound machines, they all adopt them also!***Added comment 10-21-2011***We had a problem with the white noise setting - there would be an electronic sound for a split second. The customer service is WONDERFUL. I emailed them and within a few hours had a response apologizing and asking for the serial number and our mailing address. A replacement machine was shipped to us immediately. I know that things go wrong, but when there's great customer service to back it up, I remain a satisfied customer.***Added comment 7-8-2013***We had a power outage (surge?) on Saturday. I tried the troubleshooting tips which didn't work (the light kept flashing and wouldn't turn off or on) and so I sent an email to the company customer service. I received an email reply right away on Monday, with helpful suggestion about what was wrong (fried memory card), and was told that they'd ship the part to me right away. I cannot sing this company's customer service praises loud enough. It's a great machine, the best we've ever had, and their responsiveness & service is superb.***Added comment 6-13-2014****Continue to think that this is the BEST sound machine we have ever owned. It has a deep rich tone, we can get some real volume out of it, and we use it every night without fail. Our neighbors recently built a new home (took a year) and the sound machine covered up all the construction noise. We slept through the commotion like babies. It's also the signal to our two dogs that it's time to sleep. Once the sound machine goes on, they fall asleep like clockwork! We've owned a variety of sound machines in the past, but this is hands down the best of the lot.

The noise quality is good, we have one for each of the kids. However, with no backup if the power flickers or goes off the noise stops and wakes them up.
