Was easy to set up if you go by spp and read it. It was driving me crazy to get it to work. It asked to get the cameras DID# buy scanning qr code. Will used the one on manual blike i said read lol. There is a tiny one bottom of camera. Once i used the right one it took about 3 mins to set up. I’d read it a couple of time on app. Theo only thing in wished it had was arrows to direct camers. Don’t like sliding on screen (phone) moves more than it should to get to spot. Usually nery slightly to pinpoint with passing over.

Insane
I thought this thing would be lame because of the size. If feels like a premium TOY, at best. But ... oh boy ... once you turn it on and play with it for a few days, you will quickly realize how powerful this thing is. It’s insane. The video quality is super sharp and rivals some DSLR’s in terms of sharpness during sunny day. Once you go into lowlight, you will get similar noise as GoPros and other cameras similar. But hey, that goes with any camera it size. Overall, I’m super happy. Although I do wish the price wasn’t so steep

Good not Great
UPDATE!!!This company went above and beyond to show how supportive they are for their customers. I contacted them about my issue and they gave me the best solution! Will purchase from them again!There are two major problems I have with this system. The viewing angle of the cameras is the worst. I have one in the corner of my garage and it can barely view two cars in there. The angle should have been much better. Also the signal is really not the greatest. The video is slightly choppy and it interferes heavily with my other smart devices on my wifi. Overall I may just get another system in the future.

Good So Far
I have multiple Amcrest cameras. They are all doing the job expected. However I do have concern that at times the software does not work correctly (last was web plug in error after working correctly). Call to tech support so far have been great. Owen Lucas had me up and running quickly with an issue. No issue there and this would be a 5 star rating. However I knocked off a star for connection issues.After having this problem and looking at all the IP camera sites and forums that indicate similar problems I would hope that Amcrest will fix the web plug in situation.

You Get What You Pay For, Which Isn't Much
**I want to amend my review. Less than 6 months after I got them, they completely stopped working. There were issues of their shutting down and switching from video to photo mode on me. You get what you pay for in this instance. Don't waste your money. I literally threw them in the trash.Basic camera to keep an eye on your property and track four legged visitors. They don't have the bells and whistles like some cameras but those aren't always necessary. No complaints. Pictures and video are quality. Easy to use. Clear night vision.

Great video quality, but it gets hot - fast
I like the fact that this can be used for short videos. Stabilization is amazing. Sound recording is surprisingly good. The stick-anywhere feature is quite useful too, something that can't be done on other cameras in this category.The downside: it gets hot - fast. I'm using the Pro video mode all the time - this makes the device hot quickly - so I keep in mind to stop recording after say, a minute or two, to allow it to cool down.I use my iPad mini mainly to transfer files. Some drop in connection here and there but otherwise better than using my Android phone.

Best Quality and Value for the Money-I bought a 2n
I reviewed many videos and cameras for almost 2 weeks before buying my first akaso v 50 pro. I liked the first one so much i bought a second-PROS-battery life around 35 to 45 minutes still playing with the settings options at 4k-Stabilization was great as I'm using on a kayak and constantly moving--Great picture quality and even with the full waterproof case the sound comes through decent-Talked to a rep and you can record and charge at the same time using external battery chargerCONS-WOULD LIKE TO SEE A WATERPROOF CASE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CHARGE BATTERY WHILE RECORDING

Have bought 3 over time, all work great! Good app
This was our 3rd of these, use them to keep an eye on the dogs at home while I'm at work. I keep the Amcrest app up on a cheap android phone at work all day under my computer monitor and typically don't have any issues. Works great for what we need it for. The 3 cams are typically off-sync by a second or two, but not a big deal. There's also a little lag with mic/speaker, but also not a big deal for us. We bought the cameras one at a time over the course of about 1.5 years, so we're definitely a fan since we keep buying!
