Dirty earbuds
If these were used earbuds they should’ve been cheaper, and at least clean your ears when testing them.

Great Earbuds for price with slight quibles
First off, I like these earbuds. It's better than other earbuds you could buy at this price point. Presentation wise the packaging is really good. Came with lots of earbud tips. However, they have slipped out of my ear pretty often. Sound quality wise they are okay, bass is fine and the headphones have some noise cancellation to it. Overall however, i might have expected a little more because of the way it was advertised. Not recommended for running or high activity. I would say if you are looking for something to hold you over or something for home, this is it.

Perfect Desktop Mic
Since doing the WFH I have tried several different pieces of hardware from headphones to earbuds with not great success. This fit the bill perfectly and was amazingly inexpensive. No complaints from others that I speak to and having a mute button is imperative, and it works so well. Just a simple piece of hardware that works great! Great job CMTECK.

>>> DOES THE JOB
> Great for the price, and good to very good by any standard.> Comfortable.> Foldable -- very easily, to make more compact for travel or transport. Folds flat (to about 1" thick). Some other foldable headphones fold into balls, which are not easily carried in a pocket.> For most use, mostly listening to audiobooks, I use Panasonic ErgoFit Earbud Headphones RP-HJE120K. But in comparison, I was blown away with the greatly enhanced base response of the Sony ZX --- not important when listening to voice, but important when there is more dynamic range. That is, I use these for music, and my Panasonic earbuds for audiobooks. The Panasonics (and Sony MDR-EX15LP earbuds I just purchased) are very good for music too --- but the added base of the Sony ZX headphones is an added dimension.> GIVE THEM A CHANCE --- My first impression was poor, then I remembered that I've had similar first impressions of some other headphones (perhaps a dozen brands and models). It takes a while, maybe 12 hours of use, to "break in" some speakers. So, don't be misled by immediate reactions posted by some other reviewers --- nor your own first impression.> After 12 hours of use, the mid-tones are still a little flat, at least to my aging ears, in the music I listen to. I need raise the mids by using an equalizer (such as in Windows Media Player, or on your device) to sound best---but that's generally true of high quality earphones (i.e., audiophile headphones have a "flat response"---meaning that produce what was recorded, as recorded, without emphasizing the base, midtones, or high notes).> The cord is 4' and a few inches long. For me, that is long enough to reach my computer audio plug (but, I'm gonna buy a 1' extension to make it easier). However, in my opinion, the cord is much too long to connect to a cell phone, etc. in your pocket. I wish that the cord plugged into the headphones, so that I could simply purchase cords of the appropriate length. Something to consider when looking for headphones.> The cord is also thick and heavy. Why? The thin cord of my Panasonic earbuds is close to indestructible (at least compared to such cords 10 years ago).> The plug is angled, at 90 degrees, unfortunately. That means that it won't "cleanly" connect to an extension. More important, if you pull on the extension, you won't easily pull the plug out the socket, but you will put on strain on the cord, and potential damage it (this is how most headphones fail---I know by experience---I've probably been through 20--30 headsets over the past 40 years). So, I consider the angled plug a significant negative feature.> CAVEAT --- (apparently obligatory if you want to be taken seriously) "Of course, more expensive headphones, deliver higher (audiophile) quality." Yeh, sure. In an era when almost everyone is listening to highly compressed mp3, or even more compressed streamed music (and as a result, the quality of most recorded music is mediocre), I doubt that more than 1 in 100 people can tell the difference between these headphones and "audiophile" headphones --- and even then, only when listening to high quality recordings. And anyone who CAN tell the difference would not be listening to streamed music anyway.> RECOMMENDATION --- For most people, instead of fretting about audio quality, look for other features which may be important to you, such as a plug-in cord, wi-fi, foldability, comfortable ear cushions, noise cancellation, etc. I'm not saying that you need these features --- I'm just saying that if you do, then they may be valid reasons to look at other brands and models. If you just want good sound at a good price, you can stop here.> Compared to the Sony MDR-EX15LP earbuds: Music through the Sony earbuds, are very crisp, crisper than those of the Sony ZX, and there is less need to use an equalizer, because there isn't much base muddying up the mid-tones. But, at least in my experience, it actually hurts to listen to such bright music (with the earbuds) without some base. (Not exactly painful, but if the music is too loud, you may develop a headache after 30 minutes, or so). You can comfortably listen to music on the Sony ZX headphones all day (at reasonable volume, of course). On the other hand, the Sony earbuds are better for listening to voice (such as audiobooks or podcasts), because voice is in the mid and upper range, where the Sony earbuds are particularly clear and crisp --- and there is no temptation to listen to too-loud voice.

Good for on-the-go, less so for long-form listenin
I always keep headphones like these on around my neck all day while I'm at work, or out of the house in general, because I prefer to quickly slide them on for hands-free calls as well as the occasional listening to a video/app during free time. The only thing they are not good for is long-form listening, like with a podcast. Keeping the headphones on for longer than 20-30 minutes starts to make my ears super stiff and uncomfortable. There's no padding on the earbuds themselves so go figure. Their sound quality is pretty much just okay, which is perfectly fine if you're mostly just taking calls on these things. So I'm sticking with my old headphones for the long walks/hikes, but these ones are great for when you only need to actually use your headphones sporadically.

Would be perfect except for two things
These Headphones are great but the only issue I’ve run into is one of the earbuds will start to get quieter than the other even if they have the same charge and aren’t damaged. They fixed themselves the first time it happened but only after a month or so. Then it happened again a couple of months later so… yeah, over all great but just this one thing.

These earbuds are great for the price
I love these headphones! I have used them for over 800 hours and except for a couple miner problems they work and sound great. The battery life is far better than some more expensive earbuds I have had. They sound pretty good but hey they are like 20 dollars. One of my biggest complaints about these earbuds is the battery slash case is kinda bulky for pockets. Also my right earbud is a bit quieter then the left. however I use these just about every day and love them. Their benefits far outweigh their faults. Five stars

Very Good, Much Cheaper Hearing Aid Alternative!
My mother kept losing her very expensive hearing aids. Hearing aids are just too expensive to keep replacing them for someone whose memory is that porous. We had these at the hospital where I worked for use by deaf patients admitted without hearing aids, and they worked extremely well. Unfortunately, my mother hated the earbuds. Do yourself a favour, and don't even bother with the earbuds it comes with. They don't fit anybody's ears, and are uncomfortable. Some people will use the headphones, but she's not one of them. I ordered replacement earbuds, and got a 3.5mm Stereo Female to 3.5mm Mono Male Adapter, but found her missing hearing aids before they arrived. If they go missing and can't be found, this is our fallback.

Great battery life and better sound than I expecte
I got these headphones for working out, since my other ones (different brand) ended up with one of the wires breaking.It charged up quickly out of the box. I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be with the earbud design, but I have to say, I don't even notice them. The design keeps the earbuds in place well, even when doing intense physical activity.The sound is good and the earbuds do a good job at blocking out other noise. The battery life is great and the Bluetooth connection is stable.I would definitely recommend these.
