It just worked out of te box One suggestion. enable all the devices before you mount it, as part of set up is the camera needs to scan one of those code thingies and its much easier to do it before its attached to a structure

Nice GoPro alternative
An amazing camera if you cannot afford a GoPro. It works quite well and has all the attachment capabilities of a GoPro itself. I have enjoyed using it so far. I find that the SD slot is a little finnicky, but it works well for what it is. I would recommend this because at this price point you won't get better video.

Hard to beat for the price.
Everything came in perfect condition and worked just fine. Really like how the styrofoam packaging for the light bulbs fits in the light bulb case. Our videos for self taping come out a little yellow, but I can't be sure that isn't from our camera. Definitely recommend the product, and in fact I already have.

I’m a fan of the Remali 4K Ultra HD Camera
I used this amazing Remali 4K Ultra HD Waterproof camera on our family vaca to Cape San Blas last week. I used it on the beach, in the surf, scalloping, and taking video and still shots in our beach cottage. I love it! Cant wait to explore further when I go kayaking locally! It’s going with me!

What’s not to like?
Very affordable, easy to install, and it works just like you think it would! Even comes with some free PayPal currency so you can purchase some presents for your loved ones this holiday. Def recommended and the staff replys their emails very fast, just waiting for them to pay ;) (Camera is great for apartments also haha)

Solid choice!
So far so good! Pretty easy to follow instructions, everything available online as well. App was easy to install and get going too. Picture quality is solid, not the greatest in low light situations but still good. Haven't tried it underwater yet but overall I have high hopes for this camera! Very satisfied all around.

Arthur was great he was the customer service guy I called when I needed help setting it up . He took care of the issue (my fault) 123 super fast. The camera is sturdy and I can't wait to catch the sneaky people around here. I may buy 2 more. I SIGNED UP FOR THE 2 WEEK PLAN -$27 for 3 months.

Battery went in wrong direction and got stuck
Purchased this for our catamaran cruise to Guadeloupe Island for underwater photos. While setting the camera up we accidentally put the battery in the wrong direction. The battery got stuck and wouldn't dislodge no matter what we did. We were unable to use it at all. Doesn't seem like the battery should get stuck like that.

Strong Improvements From The HERO4
Much improved over the HERO4. The HERO5 has a ton of new shooting modes and resolutions compared to previous versions. It's also water resitant out of the box, although I've heard that this is a bit hit or miss. The UI of the camera isn't great, so I would highly recommend using the smartphone app to change the settings.
