I bought the soft white version and it looks good on my collections. I have bought 4 sets of the 6-light version now. The connectors for each light are small enough that I was able to fit four through the pre-drilled hole on the top cover of the detolf. The cable/wire lengths are also long enough to reach across three detolfs to light up the middle shelf of the third detolf on either direction.I like these better than LED strip lights because you can center them and they give a unidirectional shadow on the object your lighting, which gives it a nice effect, especially for my toy figures. Strip lights are too multidirectional and can't give the same effect; they scatter the light too much and there's reflection everywhere. These dimmable lights takes care of that issue. They are more of accent lights, if I may. They make my toy figures look like museum artifacts.I will buy more for reserve and I hope they continue to make these. And I'm hoping that more hobbyists and collectors of sorts discover this and it on their collections.It does feel warm when left on for too long, but changing the brightness to 25% (actually looks good at this setting) helps reduce that.All-in-all, I'm extremely happy with these lights!

Not sure it is any better than similar items at Ikea.

Got these ones in cool white before for an IKEA DETOLF setup but wanted a warm white one for a new IKEA BESTA setup. They get the job done, are bright, and look great. I installed it on the side, and you can't see them or the wires unless you're right up against it.

Used with inexpensive IKEA table, instant rack unit.

perfect match of the material with my IKEA table. Plus the sound is OK. recommend

This 6U Rack Rail pair fits the Ikea RAST perfectly.Only 4 stars because a couple of the screw holes were tapped at a slight angle.

I bought this with the intention of using it as a shelf riser on my home office shelving unit, but realized that on the shortest leg setting it fits perfectly into the top of my black rolling IKEA cart and creates a flat table surface while still allowing storage underneath & behind the top bin. And matches perfectly.
