A good filter for portraits in bright sun
This worked out great for our holiday trip. I was able to use the lens wide open in bright California sun to get portraits of the kids on the beach. Did not affect color or white balance at all.

Nice Special Effect
A very nice filter for adding that dreamy effect. It softens the image and is very helpful on reducing wrinkles when taking portraits. I intend on using this filter for landscapes as well as portraits. The filter is solid with the rim made of metal and easily screws onto your lens. This filter comes in a hard plastic case and included were three microfiber clothes individually sealed in plastic. I have other K&F filters and have never been disappointed.

A great filter for portraits
Well made filter. I got the 1/4 filter in 72mm size. Great for portraits....gives a softer edge and a slight glow on the highlights.This is subjective, but I wouldn't go any stronger on the filter strength, and in fact, you might want to consider the 1/8 strength filter. Too strong a filter like this makes your photos were taken at an '80s Glamor Shot booth at the mall...

Amazing lens for up close portraits and photos.Edit:. After few months of use of this lens, sigma 30 art, and various other fixed prime lens', I keep coming back to this one as my favorite for portraits and people shots. Great lens
