The optics on this camera produce an exceptionally clear and wide view. I watched a leaf blow across my driveway on one of the segments. Installation was easy, I mounted it hanging down from my front porch eaves, which means all the video is recorded/stored upside-down and the software flips it.The manual for both the camera and software is a little difficult because the author(s) are not clear english-speakers. But it's close enough to easily figure out, and the discrepancies are minor. The software is a little wonky, but after you understand what it's doing, it works quite well. And whenever I view a video, the first second is upside-down (see above) before the software flips it and displays it right-side up.Night vision works best when the porch light is OFF. If on, it causes severe blooming. But the night vision without the porch light is exceptionally clear and you can see probably 20 feet in front of the camera.**UPDATE** I have now been using this device for a few months. The images and trigger sensitivity are still exceptionally good. However, the battery life is proving to be problematic. I get at most about 2 weeks use before I start getting the warnings to recharge, and then it dies. I saw other reviews that said months, but that is NOT my experience.The camera is mounted high enough where I need a step-stool to access it, so it's annoying to have to do this so often. Granted, it is cold here in Wisconsin, but I also live on a cul-de-sac and have no sidewalks, so there are extremely few false triggers.** SPRING UPDATE** With warmer weather upon us, the battery life has shot up dramatically. Now after 3 weeks, the battery has drained only slightly. If the drain is linear, I expect at least 2 months or more before I need to charge. And the images are as crisp and clear as ever. Happy again. ;)

you won’t be disappointed The manual is step-by-step instructions very easy user-friendly the picture is definitely 4K quality very clear and crisp a ton of accessories and not to mention three batteries that came charged! With a dual charger I might add. The app is very easy to navigate through and to upload your videos and send them to friends highly recommend this camera!

Trustworthy Product:My wife and I have been using the Infant Optics Baby Monitor now for almost 4 months with our baby boy. We love this product for so many reasons. It accomplishes it's main goal so smoothly delivering a beautiful picture whether in daylight or the middle of the night. The sound is very clear and the monitor has a nice feature with a bar that lights up in relation to how loud the noise is surrounding the camera.The other features of the camera make this product superior to others as far as our family was concerned. We love that it is a '1 to 1' connected device. No connecting to the internet or having to network it and worrying about some creep hacking into it and talking to our little one. It also offers the options of multiple cameras which we believe would be very useful someday.The monitor also makes it clear to see the temperature of the room which sets our minds at ease wondering if our baby is too hot or too cold. It is also easy to dim or brighten the display on the monitor as well as zoom in and change the camera viewing angle. All these functions were incredibly well.Trustworthy Company:Man. This is where I am so happy with my purchase. Infant Optics really stands by their products. After using the product for about 4 months daily our sound stopped being transmitted from the camera to the monitor with the exception of a slight muffled buzz. After explaining this to our support person (her name was Emma C.) we were walked through some trouble shooting steps. When we realized that a replacement was needed, the company shipped one out with expedited delivery.Emma was with us every step of the way making each part of the diagnosing and exchanging process so easy. My wife and I get the real sense that this company cares about its customers. I will be highly recommending them to our friends and family.

We have been using this baby monitor for 6+ months now and albeit some hiccups are really happy with it.The screen is large, bright enough for the day and dim enough at night (we keep it on and on at the lowest brightness settings at night).The battery lasts long and is extremely convenient for day monitoring when you don’t necessarily have an outlet around. The monitor follows us everywhere (kitchen, office, living room, etc.). Since it is all micro USB, we have also been running the camera on a powerbank at times (the kind we use to recharge our phone on the go) and the autonomy was amazing as well.We even purchased an add-on camera so we could monitor our kid’s playpen as well without having to move the crib camera. The monitor can switch between cameras easily but be aware that we had to upgrade the firmware (for both cameras and monitor) for that to work properly. Without the upgrade we were seeing odd behaviors (camera “freezing out” and random disconnection).Two weeks ago, our monitor started to act up. The LCD screen would remain black (with backlight on) and we could only hear sounds but not see anymore (what a downgrade!). Before buying a new set and/or changing brand… we reached out to support “just in case”. The experience was great: they were prompt, suggested mitigation steps (reset the monitor, unplug/replug everything, etc.) and when everything failed ; they ultimately diagnosed our unit as faulty and sent us a new one free of charge. All within a week (and during a pandemic)! We definitely did not expect that level of customer support.Bottom line, despites few issues, we would buy this again 100%. Spending a week without “eyes”, showed us how much we rely on and need this little monitor around!

 To start, everything comes in a box well packed with bubble wrap and plastic wrap, very glad to see there were no scuffs and everything came in pristine condition.The stand comes with fluid leveler so that means stable and flat mounting on any surface. It's also a proper tripod with enough weight which means no rocking or shaking at all.The right light comes with standard 1/4th inch camera screws, so it's pefect for any standardized camera equipment like mounts, camera bases, microphones, basically everything. Once you attach the phone holder to the ring mounts screw, it's stable and the mount stretches very far. I have a picture attached showing my Nintendo Switch tablet in the phone mount pefectly snug, so it should be able to manage any modern phone. I decided to mount my webcam to it instead, as this will be used for recording.As for the ring light itself, it also attaches itself with the 1/4th inch screw and has a very nice offset recessed power plug which keeps it very slick. The fact that it's also a USB power supply means that if you have a PC or laptop, you can power it just fine with full functionality. Perfection. RGB mode is also very nice. It's a feature that I didn't see any other ring light in this price range while shopping so I decided I might as well get the product that stands out.Lastly the Bluetooth camera remote is fine, comes with a preinstslled standard CR2032 battery. Buttons are a little wobbly but it functions well. I likely won't be using it for myself but it's still a nice extra goodie.I'll be using this extensively for zoom classes and streaming (and maybe a couple of tiktoks) so I'll be sure update this review if anything. Very happy with the product thus far!
