As this is my first action camera, my initial impression upon opening the box and pulling the camera out was “Gee this is a cute little thing”. Next, pulled out the box with the accessories in it and went through them and thought “wow this is a bunch of stuff”. Was also pleasantly surprised to find a rather thick User Manual that upon first glance looked quite through, however was a bit underwhelmed with the lack of contrast between the font and page background with makes it a bit difficult for my tired ole eyes to read.Pulled one of the batteries out and “assuming” it was only partially charged started looking through the inventory to see if we had a charger. Nope, none was found so we inserted it in the camera and using the supplied USB cable plugged it in and left it for a while to charge up.Back to reading the manual and found the info to use the wifi, but sadly noted it is for use only through a smartphone. Not everybody has (or wants) a smartphone so it would be nice to know of an application or method to connect to a Mac or PC running windows, linux, etc. this would make it easier to transfer files (and possibly do control settings) easily.Got a 64GB SD card and inserted it and of course was requested to format it. Found the setting and hit format and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it did it. Just a matter of seconds.Next, hit the record button to make a short test video using the builtin mike. Making the video was easy, but when we plugged a usb cable in to download to out desktop, it would not recognize the drive. NOTE: to windows users at least and maybe others, using a powered hub somehow makes things not work (at least on Win 7)! We then plugged the usb directly into a port on the computer case and immediately were able to see the card in the camera.The results of the quick little test videos were amazing. They were sharp and the audio using the built in mike was more than satisfactory.Overall at this time, I will have to give it a five star rating.

Just got this product and I'm so excited! It comes with 2 chargers (one for camera and the other for monitor) and I love that it has temperature reading and night vision.Fabulous product, compared it to several other more expensive ones before buying and this has better specs.Signed up for the lifetime warranty immediately upon receiving. I feel so confident and happy about this purchase.

I really love this baby monitor.. the camera quality is really good and the sound it's great as well! You can set up your phone to receive notifications when baby cries and it's specially great when someone babysits the baby and you're out running errands because you get real time notifications so it gives you a piece of mind !

we ended up just using the skype software and that works fine, but the software from logitech is POOR. good thing is, that's the only con. It's great otherwise.The novelty of the camera wears off pretty quick if you're using it to keep up with loved ones, but it's still handy when it's been a while since you've seen someone.

I've had this camera for a few months now and have used it a lot, mostly for recording rec sports and for underwater shots (I'm a film maker). I've been overall very happy with the results, although the waterproof case has started leaking and it isn't clear how I'm supposed to fix that. Past that it's easy to use and the results are great.

So many features and ways to customize the settings to fit your needs. Very easy to use and figure out how to change settings without a need to read the manual. No issues at all with set up as the monitor connected to the camera immediately. The battery life is good, not outstanding but good. I don't use the "save battery" mode and it seems to stay charged for about 8 or 9 hours.

Good camera at a great price. It does very well on light adjusting. I can skype with my family any time of day, and they can see me and my daughter just fine. To get 5 stars, the mic would have to be a little better, and the stand would have to be a little more robust. But both problems are very small in that the unit still works very well.

First one was a charging dud, this one started up right away! One reason we buy through Amazon is the great customer support regarding returns. Our first GoPro ordered a couple of weeks ago refused to charge no matter where plugged in and we couldn't get the Hero main screen to show even with just small battery amount it came with.We returned and requested a replacement GoPro which arrived today. We turned on before charging the battery fully to check due to the previous issue and this one started up and showed the main screen immediately. Kudos to Amazon for prompt replacement!Now to the camera. We are senior sometimes "geeks" and enjoy tech things. This is our first GoPro so we were excited to receive and start testing. I will say that unpacking and removing the camera from the box top mount was more challenging than expected LOL. We love the touch screens but had nothing in the included "how to" booklet related to sound. During test video recording we weren't able to hear anything, saw nothing in preferences to help adjust volume and ended up using good old online "search" to find out that we needed to swipe up during playback mode to check the volume. Once we increased this we heard the sound recorded.This is just a preliminary report as we plan to record more and save to my Mac to use IMovie and then create a DVD. We will use the camera for our cruise vacations, especially beach and snorkel time. We always create 1-2 hour movies to bore our friends and family.The reason for the 4 star is that the battery seems to drain quickly and also wish the camera was just a little bigger since we won't be mounting to a helmet or chest, just a small float type stick.
