Works great in daylight... only.
I have 7 cameras around my house (5 different brands) but this one is the least helpful of them. Solar, fully wireless, good recording quality exciting right? Wait, I've got a few limitations to discuss1. Cannot record continuous video to SD card. Only motion detections (short <1 min) clips are recorded to SD card. This means, there is no playback option.2. Motion detection is poor: The motion detection is terrible, it's been over 3 months since I installed this camera and until now, it has detected 4 motions in my backyard, LOL.3. No playback - since there is no continuous recording option, you can't go back and see what happened 3 hours ago or a day ago. This camera just helps you see what is happening now, not what happened in the past.4. Their smartphone app is terrible. You'll know once you use it. The user experience part is just dead.5. Takes a long time to establish connection - if you are not on the same wifi as th camera, it's gonna take a long time to connect and stream the data. I've experienced 45-50 seconds for connection. But once the connection is established, it is quite stable. The wifi reception is good because of its dual antenna.6. Installation is not as simple as they say in the product description. It took me an hour because the part where you adjust the camera angle was problematic, the screw just wouldn't fit.If I had to buy another solar camera, I would definitely avoid this one. Just not worth the limitations.

Top class quality and performance.
Has everything you'd want in a quality meeting/conference webcam. It's easily plug and play and doesn't need any special software. It's well-built and sturdy when mounted on a monitor or screen. Video quality is superb. Sharp, vibrant, and still maintains a decently crisp image in fairly low indoor lighting. The 4K gives amazing clarity with no grainy video or random dimming/brightening/yellowing issues that I had with my previous webcam. The facial tracking is surprisingly effective and ensures that the camera remains on my face when I move a bit. It can be a bit laggy with more sudden/quick movements, but that's not really an issue for me as I rarely have to move around quickly during a meeting. I like the scope of the camera too even when I'm sitting normally at my desk, the video manages to capture a fairly large image instead of just being zoomed in on my face (as would be the case with my built-in laptop camera). The mics also pic up voices very well (even in a big conference room). No need to raise my voice if sitting at the end of the table. The remote control is excellent. Responsive and easy to navigate (it just takes a while to get used to the multitude of functions available).A very worthwhile investment that'll last a good looking while. I'd be happy to recommend it. If this review helped, please click on the ‘helpful’ button to let others know! Thanks ツ

So good now I only use this one.
I have a 6 camera security at my office but I wasn't able to see outside the gates, so I had seen neighbors put fisheye etc outside but most are NOT connected, I guess just a deterrent. This camera is Soooo good that I don't even need to watch the other ones except for inside my unit and not the yard.It spins 320 Degrees and I can see everything and all over the street as I have installed it at top of a 3x3 12 foot high wood and then strapped it to my post inside.I love the lights that I can turn on and off as to tell people that I am watching them.I put 3 more batteries in there and although it say it supports max 64GB I have 128 GB and it seems to work perfectly. I have had it for a month and so far not even 2% of the disk is used and I love how easy it was to install and the app is also great.Couple of things they can improve on, it jumps to cloud pics always, maybe it should be left at whatever was last picked. Also you are not able to delete files individually and need to basically format the whole SD card. The other great idea would be a couple of preset positions that would make it really easy to get to where you want quick as it's work to move it around all the time.I highly recommend this item as it's the BEST camera with a very decent quality, it's not 4K but I can see everything and it's very easy to work with.

Overall a good cam for the price, batteries died q
Camera exceeded my expectations on nearly every level. As it was so cheap I was not expecting to much out of this product but it performed above expectations. I did some test videos and as many others have stated I found the 1080p at 60/FPS to be better than the “4K” option at less FPS which I expected. It comes with a lot of attachments which is nice but I just needed the helmet one for skiing. The helmet attachment worked fine and seems secure but I have only used it once so we will see. I used it skiing with the family at about 25 degree temps and got about 2 hours of footage from 2 batteries. A few times I thought I shut it off but filmed lift lines and chair rides so it filmed straight for over 45 mins at one point. So I took a star off for battery life but it’s probably partly my fault. Hooked the cam up to our 85” tv and was pleasantly surprised with the video quality. It has some troubles transferring from shade to full sun as it was a super sunny day but overall I was pleased. The camera does come with a card for a “free gift” if you leave a review, hence all the reviews. It doesn’t say you have to leave a five star review to get the gift but it sort of suggests it. I gave it 4 stars because overall I am satisfied with the camera but not blown away, I’ll will also see if an honest 4 star review will get me my “free gift” and post back again.

Gets the job done, but could use small improvement
Honestly, this is a good-almost great camera to use. I don’t have a doorbell so opted for this one instead. It will do what you need it to and the night vision is not terrible either. The main complaints I have with this model are the battery life and motion sensors. The battery life is supposed to(according to description) last for about two years- but that’s very far off. I have to change my batteries like every two months. granted, in the app it says my camera has high usage, but that’s the point of it lol. The motion sensor is iffy for sure. I have a lot of stray cats by my house and it rarely picks up on them walking through my porch… and if it does pick it up it’s always super delayed (the cat is almost off my porch by the time the camera records it). Oh one more thing - it gets super frustrating when you get the notification of movement on your phone, I click it, and it takes forever to load the live view (usually the mailman is gone by the time it pulls up and works). Usually, when doing that or just checking live view in genera the app sort of like crashes and I end up having to close it and start over. So I can never really use the talk feature since it usually takes awhile to load and then the person is gone by the time it works lol. But those are things I can live with and it overall works like it’s supposed to!

GoPro On A Budget
I wanted to buy my husband a GoPro for Christmas. Being avid travelers that love to hike I was looking for something to add to his camera collection. However, with all the research I did on GoPros and some less than good reviews, I decided it wasn't worth the money. I continued to search and found this camera, which after much research felt like was the best chance for the best dollar. With all the crazy of COVID19, all of our big trips this year have been canceled so far which is a big bummer for more than one reason. With that being said my husband has used the camera minimally but already LOVES it. First time using it was on a hike in the Smokey Mountains this February. Having not played around with it much prior to, it was very EASY TO USE and navigate. His opinion, having lots of experience with still photography, is that this is an easy way to step into action photography without a huge cost commitment. Video quality did seem a lot better than picture quality. However, being a still photographer that wasn't an issue for him and was never an expectation. Therefore, he has yet to be disappointed. Overall build quality and user interface are not as streamlined as a GoPro, but for the price point you really can't complain. Water resistance has not been tested yet as far as submersion. Quality in snow and rain has been a success. We will update as we go.

Works well overall. Tiny screen size but it works
WHAT I LIKE:- Built strong. The material and build quality looks good and it should last a while if taken care of properly.- Love the plug and play design. No installation required. Anyone can easily use it. Just plug the camera in. Charge the monitor. Then start using it since the monitor and camera come already paired. So, it is very easy to use.- Has a decent connection range. Manufacturer claims 985 feet, but that is when you are on an open field. But, since this camera is used indoors, the range I would say is more like 300-400 feet if there aren't too many obstructions. This allows me to work in the kitchen and go throw the trash away while watching the baby sleep. So, even that lower range is useful for home use.- There is the option of recording footage on an sd card. But, we use it mainly for live feed monitoring, so we don't record on an sd card. But, the option is there if you need it.WHAT I DON'T LIKE:- I wish the rechargeable monitor had a bigger battery. The 2600mAh battery only lasts about 7 hours of video use, which is not a lot if you think about it. If you use it everyday, the battery leaves you unsatisfied because it runs out before the day is over.- You don't really get the 985 feet connection range because that is a range you get on an open field. But, a home is not an open field. There are walls and obstructions. So, I would appreciate if manufacturers would be honest when claiming the range.

Withstands 60+MPH gravel spray no problem!
The media could not be loaded.
My girlfriend is an Offroad/Rally Motorsports Photographer and I recently starting capturing video on each of the stages, as an added feature, to have for the Rally Teams. I can definitely say, this camera has withstood the things we put it through!THE GOOD:1) It survived getting pummeled by a tsunami of gravel that was breaking the sound barrier, lol I jest, it wasn't 'that' fast... but still, it was really fast, (60+MPH), for a solid 6 stages, over the span of 10 hours. Granted it was in the clear waterproof case... but... all be it... it did very well.2) Changing the battery was very manageable, even with the waterproof case, removal and replacement was fast.3) Has image stabilization... works all right.4) Have not submerged it, but it has stood for hours in the pouring rain, with absolutely no leakage.5) The video quality was quite good. The video I've included with this review was shot at 720P **see "THE BAD" below, to finish quality review** through the clear case. **Which segues into the bad**THE BAD:1) This video clip, ALSO was shot with The "Field of View" option turned "ON" to its "NARROWEST" field. Which, isn't a "true" field of view adjustment. It's only digital zoom, and it crops the overall sensor. So yes, you can "change" the 'FOV'... but it subtracts from the overall quality.IN CONCLUSION: Had this camera since August 2020, and we put gear through hell... to put it mildly. With that said...so far, this camera has stood up to the rally world, and we are pleased with the overall quality, durability, and battery life.

Best battery powered flash... anywhere!
Having been in photography less than a year, it still took me about 45 minutes to figure out the SB-800. This includes using it in full off camera iTTL CLS mode as well as Remote and SU-4 mode on my D200.While on a recent vacation, I set the flash manually to 1/2 power and was able to clearly light and see people in my pictures. This would not be impressive, except that it was in a totally dark arena and the people that I lit and clearly captured were on the OTHER FAR SIDE of the arena (mind you, this is width, not length-wise. NO flash can do this distance the long way on 1/2 power!). The SB-800 is extremely powerful as a flash. This strobe is still as of today (April 2008), the STRONGEST on camera flash available on the market, it is also the most versatile. I've used it in conjunction as a bounce flash, fill flash and trigger flash for 120v studio strobes that have integrated optical triggers. I have used it as a remote flash to create amazingly well lit and professional looking portraits of family and friends. I am adding a second (possibly third as well) SB-800 to my collection to be able to have an extremely versatile and powerful portable flash setup.I've put my SB-800 through hell and back, and it has never let me down. If you are a serious professional or an enthusiastic amateur like myself with a Nikon camera, you cannot make a better choice of flash than Nikon's SB-800.
