It works. Long press on the button steps up & down brightness. Only flaw is the special charging cord - need a 3.5mm center positive cord like the SCOVEE 3Pack 6FT 5V DC Power Cord USB to DC 3.5mm.

I was extremely happy with these lights!! However, after two months they have just returned off. I've tried everything but they won't turn back on. I guess they've died. Very disappointing, and I don't know how to ask for replacements since the return window is 1 month.UPDATE: the issue is with the power supply! I bought another AC/DC 100-240V, 12V 1A Adapter for $7 and it works again! Over all with the combined price it's still a great deal and really beautiful, just requires occasional upkeep with new adapters.

 Purchased 2 of these kits for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen (needed the extra length). I modified it a bit so I didn’t have to see any wires and didn’t want the electrical plug or wires to be visible anywhere. I drilled a small hole in the cabinet above the microwave and ran the wires above the cabinets (electrical outlet is in the cabinet above the microwave). The RF wireless adapter is in the cabinet as well and works fine. I used some 20awg wire and soldered directly to the clips included with the light strips (see pictures) so I had enough length of wire and used some standard 2.1x5.5mm connectors to wire the whole thing up. I'm using a 1to5 splitter to send power out to each of 3 separate strands (see parts list below). A single 12v adapter from one of the kits is powering the entire strand of lights ~12ft in length with no problems. This kit is included with non-standard 3.5x1.35mm connectors you will need an adapter to make this work with standard 2.1x5.5mm connectors which are readily available. Bought for use in filming a theatre production. With my portable mixer only able to output 24V phantom power, I needed a mic that, didn't require only 48V. This mic utilizes 11-52V DC. Also in this type of setting low frequency noise and rumble is predominate. Used the high pass filter for that without having to correct in post. Has great frequency response and the cardioid pickup pattern was very effective in picking up a great balance of the performance vocals vs audience response. Has the added use for studio work and voiceovers; great price; solid construction; good looks... comes with a very nice shock mount. I love my new AT2035!!!
