3 years later:Simply put, I've put my Z623 through the ringer and it still brings a smile to my face when I watch movies or listen to music at home. I love FEELING the bass while laying on the couch during action movies - I'm talking thunderous bass that's just the right amount without distortion that I can tell. I love the crisp sounds of dialogue and music when watching shows as well.I've since used these speakers as part of my primary TV setup in my living room. Everyone that comes over while music is playing, or when we watch a movie or show, is completely amazed by the bass and sound. I've been to their place, and they have speakers and soundbars that probably cost as much as or more and don't have the sound or bass output this does - I am shocked that they even wasted their money on those things.Sound bars were made to be cool but can't do what the Z623 does. I'm anti-soundbar as you can tell.I am no audiophile, but for a 2.1 speaker setup I still prefer this over many others, including surround sound setups. Maybe I'm biased but for $100'ish I cannot justify almost anything else.Get it, 3 years in and I wish I had bought my Z623 setup WAY before that.

This system has great sound and doesn't seem to distort at high levels. For the price, it's a great pc sound system.However, it's not perfect. The bass seems much quieter than it really is. It needs to be positioned properly or else you won't hear the sub over the two satellite speakers. Get the positioning right and this thing really hits.Also the wires are too short. An extra 1-2 ft of cabling would make a huge difference in speaker placement on my desk. The current length really limits where you can put the speakers.

I bought these to replace a 10 year old speaker and subwoofer system on my computer (it was cheap and entry level)These do not have as much bass as that system had- but then again it shouldn’t, however; when volume is raised the base on these sound quite good. They are not going to sound like a system costing several hundred dollars but are clearly better than entry level speakers. I like the front facing controls and the speaker grill (It comes with these if you don’t want to see the yellow speaker).The cord between the speakers is a little shorter than I thought it would be- however it is not a problem for my setup.All in all I am pleased with these speakers- they do great for gaming and listening to music while I work on other things.

These speakers are quite nice. Out of the box, there is some heft to them, so these must boast a pretty good magnet for 2.75" drivers. It is easy to set up, sound is very clear and natural. Of course don't expect thumping bass out of these speakers, but it does output a respectable lower frequency. There is also a subwoofer out, which is convenient if you want to add it in the future. The only knock I have against is it, is that the cable connecting the left speaker to the right, is hardwired. It would have been nice to have jacks for this. However, there is plenty of cable to play with. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

 I have to say that these speakers are the whole package! I mean these speakers won't disappoint you. I was looking for some new speakers to replace my older flame speakers that I got 3 years ago because they finally died. So I decided to get these. These speakers blows my old one away. They have way better sound quality and they look better. I really was pleasantly surprised by how good they sounded compared to my old ones. I will say if your a Bass lover you might want to buy something different. With that said I like a lot of bass and I still enjoyed the way they sound. They are tuned just right for chilling outside on the porch or inside my garage.The build quality is pretty decent. I like the fact that you can pair 2 of them together for stereo sound. The pairing process was simple. It comes with a few accessories like a pole and hooks. They also have 2 extra hook so that if you wanted to hang them on your way you can. I probably won't be using those. But I did put the poles together and placed it in my small flower bed on my front porch. One con that I can think of is that I wish it came with 2 stakes so that I could place them further apart for the stereo sound. One major feature I like is that they are Waterproof IP65 rated. So that makes them great to take to the beach.The lighting feature is cool they have 2 different modes where you can have the flame feature or the solid yellow light. Me and my wife are really enjoying these speakers. When my wife tells me that she likes them then I know I made a good choice because she is very picky lol. I will be getting a couple more to give to my brother and his wife for a house warming gift for their new house. Overall if you decide to go with these speakers you won't be disappointed. The only thing I wish is they had just a little more Bass.

It's an excellent Speaker with Bluetooth 5.3 , USB-C charging port and a huge battery. The sound is more like Marshall Speakers ( Crisp ) than JBL Speakers ( Heavy Bass ). But be aware of the seller. I received an open box with no seals/tapes , speaker tainted with lots of dust on all 4 sides and missing charger & User Manual.I immediately called Amazon Support and they promptly arranged a replacement. I received everything sealed packed with my replacement order along with Accessories. If you receive this speaker without accessories and without any seals , please let Amazon know ASAP.

I love Bose headphones and I do own several of them. But, creating that sound in the living room must be much harder. At $200, you can get a great pair of headphones, but not a great home theater speakers. Solo 5 makes a compromise to focus on clarity in mid-high range. Bass is out the window, though. The speakers are in the center of the bar and produces a quite narrow sound stage. I think it's for a smaller TV (under 45") in a small room (like a den). I've compared it to Yamaha YAS-108, similarly priced with good reviews. I still prefer Solo 5, though. Yamaha does have a better left-right separation and bass production, but sounds lopsided in the mid-high range (especially in music -- Josh Groban sounds under the weather). Sole 5 produces more balanced sound (albeit losing low-end). So, for musical/music lovers, I recommend Solo 5 over other similarly priced sound bars. I'm upgrading from Vizio 3.1ch sound bar w/ subwoofer. I do lose pounding bass, but dialogs and vocals sound much more clear.

I kept having disconnection issues with the speakers I had. I saw this. The price was reasonable and since I do a lot of listening -- to music and audiobooks -- so I figured "why not"?It has turned out to be one of my best (surprising) experiences. It has a much better sound than the speakers I had -- which weren't bad -- but this is so much better. Richer, better bass, louder without any breakup. It also connects like a dream and doesn't decide to disconnect randomly. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it.
