These cameras are great!
This is a great camera for the money. Easy to use and long battery life. I've captured photos and videos of deer, raccoons, and a bobcat in the woods behind my house. Satisfied Customer!

Amazing Documentary
This documentary about Dorothy is one of the least speculative, most genuine I've seen to date. A simple woman begins to see then film lights that appear in the sky around her home, daytime, nightime, whenever. At one point she's filming the same sighting with three different cameras and getting the same image on each one. There is no real explanation why she sees these lights and she doesn't pretend to know why they appear, she just documents them. Her family thought she was nutty until one of her adult daughters was interviewed in her kitchen and the lights peek-a-booed behind the daughter's head through the window as she was answering questions. Then the family believed Dorothy and believed the things she'd been filming were real. Loved the way this docu was handled.

Functional product, excellent customer service!
We've had this product for over two years now and love it. We've been able to easily add cameras as the family has grown, the functions are simple to operate, and the system is very straightforward. The Cons:- Battery life was shorter than expected. But even so, we bought a replacement battery and it works great now.- Signal can be weak. We have a long house, and it cuts out sometimes when reaching the farthest room.- Signal can be interrupted randomly. This is not a big issue during the day. It's usually a cell phone too close, interrupting things. The con is mostly at night when there is a terribly loud beep indicating loss of signal, then it continues to scan as normal, pretending like nothing happened. Wakes you from a dead sleep. Ugh.The Pros:- Easy to use (family that visits can operate quickly with basic instructions).- Simple to add/remove cameras. We have three. We can add or remove, taking one on vacation, etc.- Customer service is amazing, hands down! We had an issue with the screen on the parent monitor suddenly flashing and by the end of the day lost all video, just a white or black screen. We still had sound but had no idea which camera we were monitoring. We contacted the company in hopes they could help us troubleshoot the issue (we were well out of warranty by 1 1/2 years). They attempted troubleshooting, and when that wouldn't work, shipped us a new parent unit at no cost, even expediting the shipping (as we had to send the other unit back and were without a monitor for a few days). Amazing communication from the company, responding within an hour even on the weekend! Overall, any minor dislikes of the product are completely outweighed by the company that backs it!

Well Made, Easy to Setup & Use, Good Image Quality
This is a pretty nice camera kit for the price! First off, the cameras themselves feel nicely made and don't feel cheap. They are very simple to setup and use. It took me about 5 minutes to get it up and running. Make sure you connect this camera to a 2.4Ghz network and not 5G - it won't work on 5G. If you have never set one of these up before, no worries, the app does a great job walking you through the process, step by step. These do require being plugged into either a wall outlet or power bank for power. There is no built in battery or anything of the sort. Not a deal breaker by any means, just something worth noting. This is very important to know especially when looking for a place to setup and mount.Once setup, it is very easy to operate and adjust settings. The app is setup very well for this. You have full control through the app and this can be done while you are there or away. You can also download and view the photos and videos captured. The motion detection works pretty well and does what you would expect. You will need to install a microSD card to properly use these cameras. It does not require a cloud storage service or any monthly fees, but they do offer a free trial cloud storage if you want. The video and audio quality is pretty good for the price and is what I would expect. It is clear and crisp. The night vision is decent and I was able to see most of the room in total darkness. Keep in mind, if you have a bigger room or area you are monitoring, then it may not each that far in terms of the night vision. All things considered, this camera works exactly as described and is really easy to setup and use. I have had no issues with these whatsoever!

Update To Original Review for Brave 4K - Amazing s
After trying two Brave 4K cameras purchased in December 2019, and not being satisfied with the 4K quality , I left a 1 star review. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a follow up from Akaso customer service. As a result, I was sent a complementary V50 Pro. This has native 4K 30fps, and the overall feel and quality is much, much better . The touch screen is very responsive, and the video quality is far superior. No more chop or jitter, just silky smooth 4K footage and no issues with sd choice selection . I have several GoPro cameras as well, and this feels much more like a Hero 7 or 8 . The addition of multiple accessories, including a waterproof case, dual batteries, remote etc etc really is a complete package of everything you will need to get some great footage. If you are looking for an economical action cam, and are not for paying exorbitant prices, the V50 Pro is a great product, and given the customer service, I can highly recommend considering Akaso products.Ray GOriginal Review for Brave 4KI purchased this based on the great reviews . However this camera does not do as promised regarding 4 k quality imaging and smoothness. With or without Image stabilization and gyro features , the video quality is choppy . It is only acceptable at 1080p , 60fps or less. The 4 k is so bad , I exchanged the first unit assuming I had received a lemon. However the second unit had the same issue . As an experiment , I also tried multiple 64gb sd cards ( purchased based on manufacturers suggestions ) . However 4K still looks like earthquake footage. If this is only as good as a 1080p camera, don’t advertise it as 4K. I have a GoPro hero7 on order . Hopefully that works better !

Great Off-Brand Monitor!
Great monitor for the price. Our name brand monitor broke and we found this. The daytime picture quality is great. Night vision could use some improvement because it gets blurry at night. The battery life of the handheld unit it great. We leave it plugged in at night and use it here and there during the day if we are off work. It rarely dies unless it’s left on during the day when we are not home. We have Amazon Blink cameras too and those we access for when we are away at work and she has a nanny or if only one of us is working. Those have their own purpose but this is great to monitor naps when we are home and for the nighttime to wake us up or to determine if she is stirring and will go back to sleep or “awake awake.”Hopefully it lasts us awhile!

Better than other more expensive options.
For the price this camera is great! The picture quality is about as good or better than other way more expensive cameras. I originally bought the Nanit but felt the image quality wasn’t as amazing as it everyone made it seem. (Maybe I got a bad one?)Another thing that works nicely is the app. Does what it needs to do, loads quickly, sends me alerts when the baby cries/ senses movement. With the app I can see it from anywhere, and I like that you can add a micro sd to save recordings, even without the micro sd it shows you what happened a few secs before the baby cried. I read reviews of many apps for other cameras, many people having issues and the app made the camera useless, or you need a subscription to save recordings. I was surprised that this has almost 5 stars in the app store. The camera does have it’s flaws. The sound quality isn’t the best. I hear some static when I am watching the baby, although I am not 100% sure on this. I have an older house and have had other equipment that produces that static sound. I can still hear the baby, but the noise is annoying. The app has 1 issue that bothers me. Unfortunately it won’t work in the background, so for example you want to listen to the audio of the cam but want to see your pictures or read online, the app closes completely, or lets say you want to sleep but listen to the audio, you need to leave the app open. It will still send you an alert if the baby cries but I prefer to be continuously listening. Hopefully they will address this issue and update the app.

NO BABY HERE-SECURITY
This won't apply to new parents, I bought to watch outside.I wanted a camera for front door inside window, but they required WiFi & Apps. Sometimes monthly subscriptions. I didn't want to mess with that AND I read reviews of cameras seemingly hacked! We've all heard the occasional perv/privacy problems.I wanted something just like this & after giving up on standard security cameras, I got creative & thought of baby monitors. After back/forth with reviews/price, I chose this. I'm happy with it & the picture quality. Others said this works thru a window & sure enough it's great. I LOVE I can move it around the house (as long as there's a plug)I put at front door last night to watch for an injured stray cat I'm trying to help. Today I moved to front window to watch my driveway for a delivery.I can also see when company arrives. Then I moved to back window to keep an eye on fur baby. That's the pic I'm including. The sound works great, people who say they have to keep touching to get screen on, got a bad one. Mine stays on until I turn off. A fraction of security camera cost & no fear of privacy issues. It's only been a day, but I'm really happy with it, I also bought extended warranty, as I've dealt with them before. Fast no questions asked exchanges.*Update- now a couple weeks & still great. I love I can move it around the house & carry the screen with me, like a 2nd phone.

It's awesome and has room to grow
The Miku's breathing feature is peace of mind and knowing that my baby is breathing is worth it. There's also a data tracker that shows detailed and easy to understand charts of the time, temp, activity (sleeping, moving, no movement), and a few others things. Personally I thought it was a bit over the top but then when the baby started waking up at the same time each night, the chart showed that her room was too cold and it would wake her up. Turning up the thermostat a couple degrees let all of us sleep through the night. Without the worry and guesswork, it's literally made parenting easier. But we started using Miku after trying several other cameras and there's a lot of features missing that are standard for other cameras. There's no zoom and camera control is non existent. When it's near sunrise and the light is just right, the picture will flicker back and forth between nightvision and regular - but it's not a graceful transition. And near sunrise, it will do this over and over. It's wild the first it happens but gets real old, real fast. The sound quality is fine. It records the baby well but includes a microphones that's laughably bad when the Miku plays the tiny, tinny sound. The included white noise is also just as bad. It's like a cellphone on speaker phone but very faint.Overall it's a very good camera but if you live in an apartment or have problems with other WiFi devices, it's going to have WiFi connection issues. It's really a problem with WiFi and not the devices which use it, so Miku does great when it has a connection and that's what's being judged here. The features are unique and it provides peace of mind, which is what makes it worth the investment.
