This has worked great for me so far. I am using it on my canon 50mm 1.4 paired with my Canon SL2. It’s nice that it has little indicators so you know the filter position before shooting. Didn’t get the “x” shadow like some people did, even on my 18mm-55mm.

I am very satisfied with this speedlight. I have been using the 580EXii Canon for quite a while now and I have been wanting to get into a radio trigger system. Before I purchased the Yongnuo I almost pulled the trigger on buying a refurb Canon 600ex RT. But for half the price of the refurb canon I was able to get this speedlight a YN-E3-RT transmitter and a YNE3-RX receiver to trigger my existing canon flash. Although as of yet I am still unable to fire my 580exii flash with the receiver this flash that I am reviewing has worked flawlessly as well as the transmitter I purchased to go with it. Also it came with a nice rubbery diffuser that will fit either flash unit.

Quality piece of kit. Bit more pricey than the cheaper offerings but the results are excellent.

This is a no brainier!! If you buy a Canon Power Shot, you Will be glad to have one of these!! All the Canon toys fit inside this little suitcase!!!

Not firing
I am using the flash on my Canon RP. I am very familiar with external flashes, but for some reason this flash will only fire once every 6-10 shots. Not happyUpdate: I was contacted by Canon who immediately fixed my problems. Turns out I didn’t do enough research, and I was using standard AA batteries which lead to a super long recharge time for the flash. Canon advised me to switch to rechargeable batteries and it instantly fixed my problem- now the flash fires every single time and has been absolutely perfect!

I have no complaints. It has been the best upgrade for my canon t6, I'm happy with it.
