I rarely provide reviews but I'll give credit to this fantastic gadget. I own 3 setup & so far no major issues other than I have to reset the camera if I put under disable mode. Additionally there's times were I have to reset but that only happen once or twice. Maybe because I reset my Modem. Also the 30 sec video capture is not syncing to the way I want it setup. It just default it to 10 sec no matter what I do. Other than that battery is still at 80+% & it's about 15+ days now. Overall I like it & that's why I decided to but the 3rd setup after the initial 2 outdoor setup. Cannot complain for less $200 I've spent for 3 cameras/128GB SD. I'm a military & travel a lot so I need to make sure I have some sort of security/evidence

I ordered these to have another backup camera system at home. These cameras have a higher resolution than standard 1080p, though they default to 1080p. Other than the subscription service, you also have access to constant recording to a microSD card. While the product page says that it supports a network video recorder, I cannot find one that claims to support it... nor anything about support for Blue Iris or RTSP. The camera itself is very light weight and while it does not seem flimsy, it does not feel like the quality product that it is.Like all online cameras, the app has a varied interface that is not always intuitive. It does have some standout features such as scenes (for arming, disarming, and customised configurations), notifications (which can be tied to scenes) for detections as well as offline scenarios and thumbnail off/on, builtin human detection without subscription, and abnormal sound detection with decibel settings. I have not added microSD cards yet, though they are on order... and I am hoping that they will support scrollable playback.Day-to-day use is very functional. Human detection is flawless when I am at home. My scenes for home and away work well for turning on and off notifications and recording. The abnormal sound detection even detected a failing battery in a smoke detector when I was not at home... notifying my atr regular intervals until I listened to it live.About the only thing that could be better (besides the app and the feel) are the mounting angles for the swivel. If the swivel moved further in all directions this would not be an issue, but when mounting on a wall, you need to mount it near the top to get any viewable area without using some sort of shelf.I am rating this four stars for now due to its functionality, even without a monitoring plan. I will update this if the microSD improves/worsens the situation when installed. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...

I'm flabbergasted at the usefulness and quality of this little flash for the money.It should be noted that even though the description says it's for Nikon or Canon DSLRs, it is in fact a universal flash. So although it will indeed work with Nikon and Canon cameras, it'll also work with Olympus, Old film Minoltas, and anything with a standard hotshoe or PC socket. It won't mount to some newer Minolta or Sony cameras, due to their nonstandard hotshoe. For those interested, I measured the trigger voltage at 3.1VDC, so do some research to make sure that's safe for your camera.The cost for this universality is that this flash isn't dedicated to any specific platform. It's simply a manual flash. the only signal it can receive from your camera is "Fire now!", with no TTL or exposure info being traded whatsoever. This flash doesn't even have an auto mode (where the flash itself controls the burst duration). All it does is fire when you tell it to, at the power level you've selected.It has three modes, "M", "S1" and "S2". M mode fires the flash when it sees a closed circuit on either the hotshoe or the PC socket. S1 mode fires the flash when the built-in optical slave trigger sees a flash from another source. S2 mode fires the flash when it sees TWO flashes from another source. This is useful when the main flash is on a digital camera that uses a preflash for metering.In all three modes, the power of the flash can be controlled over a useful range from full to 1/128th power. The LEDs on the rear show the relative power, but they're not labeled with a particular power ratio. This is sort of a drag if you want to record your exposures and setups, but not a deal-killer.All-in-all, this is a great little head for strobist-type shooting. It's small, light, versatile, and if you happen to lose or leave it, it'll irritate you but not ruin your day.

I researched and reviewed several cams on here and wanted something to meet my needs and this has exceeded them. I have not subscribed to their cloud service and its been over a month since I have used them. They are excellent video quality and notifications even though recordings are 6 seconds its enough to notify and you can look at live video for longer review. I use a micro sd card in all 5 of mine. Set up was simple. I highly recommend this product. As far as privacy being a concern - yes you have to grant permissions for this company however if you set the cameras up on a separate wifi network which most internet companies give you a 5g & 2g network you don't have to have worries. I set mine on the 2g and its working great. I plan on purchasing a few more.

 We ordered this camera because our holidays lights, that go down our driveway, keep getting cut. Twice last year and just I’ve this year. Whoever is doing it is “making sure” we can’t repair them. It’s three-five cuts in each line of lights. We got them a few years ago at Costco and they’re name brand. Last year we were lucky to have found the last two boxes to fix the first time they were cut. But then they were cut again. So after having them cut this year we knew we needed cameras. So we bought this thinking we would upgrade later in the year since it is almost Christmas, but the quality so far is amazing. I have no issues as of yet and we have had them up for about two weeks as of now. I highly recommend these.

Not bad but has some annoying quirks. One is the lock up issue others have written about. It seems to seize up for no apparent reason on a regular basis requiring me to remove the battery, reinsert it then power up again. It usually does this at least once per session. They really need to address this issue with a firmware upgrade. The menus are quirky and poorly thought out. For example to simply adjust the screen brightness you have to bring up the menu then carefully scroll down to the bottom of the list to find the brightness setting. I say carefully because it takes a very precise touch to get to where you want to be in the menus. This is an exercise in frustration when you are trying to quickly alter a setting without missing a shot. The wireless operation is sporadic at best. I wasted a full half hour trying to get this thing to talk to my phone less than ten feet away to adjust the settings when I was taking time lapse photos. This was AFTER I had everything set up and working the previous day! The Capture app is clunky and needs some serious work. Not impressed with this feature at all. One serious flaw in physical design is the idiotic battery door which I just knew was going to be misplaced. Sure enough I lost it the first week. The problem is that you cannot plug in external power without removing the door because the camera will not fit in the frame with the door open! Just plain stupid. As for the picture and video quality - it's not bad at all. Video quality is better than I expected. Photos are better than most compact cameras I have used but of course nowhere near as good as my trusty Canon or Sony pocket cameras that I rely on for better quality shots. Overall, for a do everything action camera, the Hero5 is pretty good. With a few bug fixes it would be great.

This baby monitor is amazing and worth every penny! I love the fact that it connects to your phone to make it easily accessible to view your baby. I use it for my 14 month old when he naps and for night time, it’ll also come in handy when he starts playing in the play room on his own.We are also expecting baby #2 and I love how you are able to connect two cameras so I’ll be able to view both babies on my phone.Another great part about it is that the stick makes it easy to twist around furniture and place it in a spot that views the whole room.I also love colour choices, they are very pleasing to look at and will go with the whole nursery aesthetic.I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about it. I’m very happy with this baby monitor and I 100% recommend it to someone in need of one.

Ok this was a pain to figure out for me personally and almost gave up. 1st and foremost use AC cords which means directly to an outlet or and extension cord not the cables that may show up under also purchased. If you can’t link the cameras hold the reset button down until it prompts that it’s been reset and yes while the device is plugged in, usually around 6-10 seconds will do it. I am more then happy of the quality and function of these! The night vision is clear and the auto tracking along with human detection is something that will cost you so much more with other options. The app for me is easy to use and I don’t deal with ads other then when it’s been closed out and reopened but even then it’s so quick then right back to live feed. Hopefully this helps others I definitely am satisfied and have told so many others about them.
