Pretty cool camera
I finally had a chance to set this up. I didn't set it up too deep in the woods so I was able to use the wifi setting. There are some settings you'll need to play around it first to see what works best for you.

This is a great telescope for my kids
This is a great telescope for my kids. I got this scope to teach my 5-year-old about astronomy and this scope has exceeded my expectations. At first glance, it is a small aperture, but includes a very nice red dot finder scope and an alt-azimuth "Dobsonian" style mount. This is great for my kids as we will mostly be looking at bright objects in the sky and won't need the aperture for distant objects or the full field correction for doing astro-photography.As for the quality, the mount and telescope are well constructed and the primary mirror was perfectly collimated upon arrival and required no adjustment to get up and going. One of the screws for the elevation stage had fallen out during shipment, but it was very easy to put it back and holds well. The kit includes two eyepieces, one for wide-field viewing (17mm) and a short focal length (10mm) for distance viewing. The wide-field looks to be of great quality and I plan to use that as the main power-house... the short eyepieces in kits like these will work for distance viewing, but they have a very narrow field, and are uncomfortable to use in my opinion, that said, the optical quality of the one included in this kit was pretty impressive, I was able to clearly see the rings of Saturn and it's brightest moon, Titan. It also has a modular lens cap that is able to stop down your entrance aperture for viewing very bright objects like the moon and Venus. i find this feature very nice, as the full aperture tended to be a little too bright for the moon in my opinion.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and would happily recommend this scope for anyone looking to get into astronomy or as an educational gift for a child. If you're a discerning amateur astronomer, stay tuned, as I am planning to get this mounted on my tracker and use it for some photography with my DSLR in a few weeks, I'll post some pictures when I get them.

Decent beginner telescope for the price
Pictures were taken with a smartphone held up to the 10mm eye piece. The moon is bright & clear, provided the humidity in the atmosphere doesn't make it appear watery looking, but that's not to do with the scope. I can easily see the stripes on the surface of Jupiter & the rings of Saturn, they just don't show up well through a cellphone camera due to exposure & how bright they are.It is a little complicated to put together because of how many parts it comes with but wasn't too bad. It is quite heavy though when it's all put together & can be unwieldy to bring outside each time you want to use it. Because of that, I make sure I'm going to be outside with it for a while.I will say that once you've seen the planets for yourself & get bitten by the astronomy bug, you will begin wishing you had a wider aperture telescope (this one is only 5.1in) so you can see a bit more. However if you're a genuine beginner that's just looking to bring it outside once in a while, it's not bad at all.

Nice for traveling.
Nice travel scope but I had to sent it back. Couldn't see the things I wanted to see in detail.

Great for growing indoor specialty plants
I bought this light so that I could keep my new expensive half-moon Monstera Verigata plant indoors. I found out it loves my covered outdoor patio now in the summertime so I will mainly use this lamp in the winter months when I bring my plant baby indoors.

Find the adventurer in you!
I use this when I go camping to do some stare gazing. My Girl loves taking it up the mountain on a clear day just to see what see can see from the top. It works great for both.

Great Scope
I have always been interested in astronomy since I was young and my parents bought me one of those department store scopes. It was pretty horrible, couldn't even make out the moon. Recently I have regained interest and after doing several days of research, all the sources pointed to this scope. I live in Northern Las Vegas so light pollution, smog, and the hot air currents degrade visibility a lot. I was hesitant but an hour drive will get you to the middle of the desert where it is pitch black.Packing was pretty simple, two boxes, one with the scope (a bit overwhelmingly large) and one with the base. I was able to assemble it in about 1 and a half hours. Construction feels pretty solid and precise. It's size is impressive to those who do not know much about telescopes and I have got a few "wow's" so far. My friends have assumed it was in the $3000 range. One little nit pick, the manual mentions there is supposed to be an eye piece holder included but it is not. I called and Orion said it is only for the XT6 model.Since this is my first scope, I got the 2x Barlow lens and the 13% moon filter. They work very well but I do not recommend buying them separate. Instead, just get the accessories kit that already includes them. Trying to get an exchange on them now. I would also recommend getting the carrying case for protection. This is a pretty large scope and begs to get hit in a door way at some point. The base has a carrying handle but I do not trust it. It feels too low to the center of gravity and feels very awkward.I have not been able to actually take the scope out far, but I did set it up on the 3rd floor balcony of my apartment over looking North Las Vegas towards the West. Even with all of the pollution from smog, light, and the hot air rising, this scope reveals MANY more stars in the sky than the naked eye can see! I was absolutely amazed at the number of stars I could see. As of 9 April, Venus and Jupiter are visible from my balcony. I used the Reflex scope to quickly find them. With the stock eye piece, Venus shows up very bright. I tried the moon filter and Barlow lens just to see what it would look like. It looked very brilliant! Jupiter was even more impressive. Noting the pollution and a night that was quite cloudy, I was able to clearly see 4 of the moons and the gas bands on the planet. Just for fun, I then pointed the scope on Mt. Charleston and found what appears to be a radar station and several towers(Not the ski resort for sure) After that, I pointed it towards the strip and was able to clearly read the neon signs and billboards from about 11-12 miles away, without the Barlows! (Note that terrestrial viewing will be inverted) All of the images were bright enough to hold my phone up to as a poormans astro-photography device. For the price, I am very pleased with this scope. I would recommend it to anyone who is new and serious about astronomy.

Fantastic little lamp!!
I never do reviews on Amazon but I honestly love this lamp! I think it’s such good valu for money! It’s bright, the battery lasts a fair while, it’s light, it’s easy to travel with, it’s portable, there are three brightness settings.I am over the moon with this purchase and would absolutely buy again.
