Works well but...........
Once the UK weather started to deteriorate the performance has dropped off. In damp, wet or cold conditions the lens either mists up or freezes over making any "captures" impossible to see. If rain gets on the lens it distorts the optics. This has forced me to make a protective "hood" that keeps the rain off the lens but does not prevent misting or freezing.

I like it. When trying to show the kids they get excited and we have to keep finding it on the crosshairs and they bump into a lot. Enjoying it!

Works great!
Quick and easy install and works great with our infant optic monitor. Easy to see baby in crib. Didn’t feel it was too close to see.

For the price, it's decent enough
Worked on my Canon t7i perfectly. Fixed at 500mm, manual focus without I.S. I saw a featureless image of Jupiter and could just make out its galilean moon's, pretty cool. You're definitely not going to get National Geographic image quality but it's decent enough. Picture is at sunset, about 5.5 miles away

Works as advertised.
Used this on an Skyline 12" Dobsonian Telescope I picked up from a lawn sale for 3 bucks.I watched a online video on how to use it and it worked like a charm.Purchased a few lenses on here and eBay, and saw the moon up close.Once I clean the 8 inch Orion Dobsonian Telescope up and build it a stand, I will try it on that one too.No complaints.

Great lamp
I love everything about this moon lamp, it’s perfect lighting to have in a room , off to the side. Would make a great night light for any age.The remote is simple ,that’s a plus.If I was to suggest anything it would be lighter shades of each color as an option to what’s already on the remote.Overall great product , I’d buy it again.

Good beginner scope, with a few flaws.
I've had this telescope for over a year now; overall, it is a good beginner scope, with a few flaws. I'll list the pros, cons, and what I was able to see in my moderately light polluted backyard:Pros:-100mm aperture is really good for this price range.-Optical tube is of high quality.-Optics are clear and crisp, with only slight distortions near the edges.-Lightweight and easy to learn.Cons:-Eyepieces are of low quality. The 10mm actually broke shortly after I received the scope; however, Orion has great customer service and sent me a replacement for free. I'd recommend a higher quality eyepiece, such as the Celestron 9mm X-Cel, which works all around well with this scope.-Short focal length (f/4) means its hard to get to the high magnifcations for planetary viewing. The eyepieces provided will only give 20x and 40x, which isn't enough to see much detail. I'd recommend Orion's Shorty 2x barlow if you want to see Jupiter, Saturn or Venus in more detail. The maximum theoretical magnification is 200x; I've had it up to 174x and it was already washed out and blurry at that point though.-My biggest complaint is the tabletop mount- its sturdy, but impossible to use comfortably unless you have several tables of different heights (depending on how high in the sky you're looking).Eventually you'll want to get a tripod becasue the tabletop itself is impossible to be comfortable with. The scope can be mounted one of two ways- either tabletop mount on top of the tripod or just the tube attached to it. Both have flaws (attaching the tabletop itself to tripod will be top-heavy and shaky; attaching just the tube itself puts the eyepiece at a bad angle to look through). What I've been able to see:Stars down to 8th magnitudeThe Moon (recommend Orion's moon filter- you'll see amazing detail)Orion Nebula (the highlight of this scope in my opinion, looks bright pale green, very pretty)Collinder 69 (a lesser known star cluster in Orion that I always like)Andromeda Galaxy (barely visible as grey fuzzy patch)Double Cluster in PerseusM41 in Canis MajorPleiadesHyadesVenus (appears as yellow disk, with phases)Jupiter & Galilean Moons (the other highlight of this scope- features such as dust clouds can be seen starting around 40-80x)Saturn (appears as golden oval until about 80x, when ring can be seen separately)Many of the well-known deep sky nebulas and galaxies (M1, M57, M81, etc.) have been impossible to find, though these are the most affected by light pollution.

BEST GIFT EVER!
This product is so amazing. My son got it for his 4th birthday and he is over the moon with excitement on how cool it is that he can watch his shows and movies on the ceiling while in bed. I personally think it will be great for summer movies outside in the yard. The quality is so great and the sound is perfect. We love this product for our son and would recommend it to anyone!!!

Great telescope but takes a time to learn how to u
Product looks great and my 9 year old son was very excited when he opened the box. Easy to set up, but takes a while to get the hang of it. Once we were able to figure out how to focus in on objects, we've had fun looking at the moon and constellations! Would recommend if you have the patience to learn how to use the viewer.
