The camera stand is made of sturdy material and has a high quality of matte surface!! The most impressive me it is the camera stand has multiple adjustable tight handles that allow me taking product pictures from a wide angle.

Great baby monitor AND excellent customer service
We have had the Infant Optics DXR8 for well over a year. Excellent range in our home, sound, night vision. Overall very happy with this product. My MIL took care of our toddler for a weekend trip and somehow the pin for charging the monitor got stuck and broke off. We called customer service (on a Saturday) and spoke to a real person. They advised us to look for proof of purchase from our baby registry and even though it had been over a year, within a few days, they offered us a replacement monitor! Outstanding customer service! We will definitely be buying an add on camera for baby #2!

Excellent customer service, best baby monitor
Excellent baby monitor! We purchased the first one for my baby in 2016 and added an additional camera and parent unit two years later when little sister came along. When we had an issue with the charging port the customer service was fast, responsive and excellent; they solved our problem right away and have fixed it on the newer monitor’s that now come with a round pin charging port instead of micro usb. These are the only monitors that we have had to purchase in the past four years ( plus one battery replacement) and I Recommend to anyone looking for all of these features in an affordable price!

Great customer service for long time customers
We’ve had this monitor since 2017, the battery did start to malfunction these past 6ish months, which we just accepted since our son was 2 and we didn’t need a monitor as consistently. Finding out #2 was coming in the new year though, caused me to reach out to Infant Optics customer service and see if it was possible to get a replacement battery so we didn’t have to buy a whole new camera system. Jen was awesome to work with and sent us a brand new 2019 style monitor which will last us hopefully another couple years! Very pleased with their customer service

Great all inclusive Monitor
We bought this monitor because we had a camera that connected to our phones but you always had to have your phone on and the sound was glitchy. This monitor is great. You can turn the video off or on and still hear the sound so you don't have to worry about whether or not your baby is ok or the monitor is on. It's very effective, long battery life, great range. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because the picture quality is not excellent but it is very good and good enough to see your baby and when he/she has her eyes open or closed =).

30k people can't be wrong: great product, amazing
My only complaint about the Infant Optics is that that little green power light isn't great for kiddos when they wake in the middle of the night, but literally, that's it. It's a great product that works super well and is easy to set up. The range on the monitor is pretty far. When we had some issues, the company was incredibly helpful and gracious, and went above and beyond to make sure we could keep using the monitor and camera. Because it's such a helpful product relating directly to our bebe, I can't help but be emotional about the role it serves in our life. I'm so grateful for it.

Very pleased with this product
I have had nothing but positive experiences with this monitor. Customer service has been responsive and helpful with troubleshooting ideas when needed. We purchased this product over a year ago and have still been using it successfully on a daily basis. I had my parents buy the same monitor and we have both had great experiences. Two way talk works well, holds a charge to work throughout the day - we plug it in at night, and image is clear enough to see what we need. My parents wall mounted their camera and the tilt feature is great for that use. Highly recommend.

Okay, but not super impressed
I like some things about this monitor, except the battery life is terrible (has to be recharged every single day, even though it’s only on for a few hours), and the range isn’t fantastic either. Our house isn’t that big, and it loses connection when I’m upstairs right above the room where the camera is. I’ll grant that you can go into the backyard, and it still works. But it doesn’t go through floors well at all. It came highly recommended from friends, but for the price point, I’m honestly not super impressed after using it for 2 months.

We switched to Infant Optics from another competit
Update: after using our monitor for a while, I still absolutely love it. As mentioned before we switched from a leading competitor and I’m so glad we switched!!!We just got this camera in the mail today and I’m already very pleased. The instructions and set up of the monitor were sooo easy. We already have another leading competitor monitor but opted to buy this one because we were having issues with the connectivity. The picture quality is good, I love the toggle and zoom option. The monitor is simple to use. So glad we made the switch.
