We love this monitor!!To begin with, the packaging that this comes in is so beautiful and organized. Set up for both the hardware & software is very user friendly. This is typically what puts me off from buying high tech products haha, but this was really easy to understand.This monitor has brought us incredible peace of mind! The live breathing function is incredible and works well even through a blanket. The 2-way talk feature is great as well. In previous monitors that I've used only one side could be speaking at once, so this is actually 2 way.The camera is sleek, the little nightlight is awesome, and we are so very glad we have this monitor!!

I gave this review 4 stars so that you know it's legit. And also, because this thing is totally unnecessary and just adds to carbon emissions, trash, etc.Having said that...WOAH. It's really cool. In the dark , lights up a large room very well. Honestly, I was kind of expecting this to be hot garbage. There are SO many junk products on the market targeted at kids. I was very pleasantly surprised.Pros:- The laser dots rotate one way, the "nebula" another.- The "nebula" effect is very convincing, and doesn't just rotate: it actually morphs in a convincing organic and analog way (when you see how they do it, it makes perfect sense. Basically they have a 3D spherical plastic "lens" that has a randomly warped and distorted surface, that then slowly rotates or something).- Overall it's super-trippy.- The laser dots, while not very chaotic or random, at least aren't in an obvious, super-simple geometric pattern.Cons:- The laser dots aren't chaotic enough. I get that it's a single laser reflected, refracted, and/or diffracted through some geometric crystal, mirror, or combination of more likely a combination of diffraction gratings. And this is pretty much the only way to do it without greatly increased cost. I'm OK with that, and it actually comes off much better than the rotatable diffraction grating on my green laser pen, but it would be REALLY amazing if they could figure out a way to make it look more chaotic. And in doing so, each dot doesn't have to be a perfect dot. I think it would probably be OK if some were necessarily smeared a little.

I haven’t had the chance to use it much yet, but from what I can tell it’s a really good baby monitoring system. It’s has a lot of features that are very helpful that will allow me to have a peace of mind while my baby sleeps in a separate room. The volume works really well, the camera occupies almost 360’ which is great, and it’s colored and not just black and white, so that’s a plus. Also one of the reasons I got it for is the temperature monitoring system because the weather keeps changing and I wanna make sure my baby is comfortable. So far I have no complaints.

We absolutely love this monitor! We purchased this monitor about a year ago when our son was just born and after 12 months of use, our son picked up the monitor and dropped it on the floor. The screen cracked leaving us without the ability to see our son sleeping. So of course we had to purchase another infant optics camera! Cannot say enough good things about it. Image quality is incredible, the extra lenses are great for close ups on your baby, the product is Howe easy to install, set up and use, and it’s a very well built machine. Highly recommended this to any parent out there!

First off I needed a long charger I could use during my hospital stay while delivering my son. This charger was perfect! It was long enough to plug into the wall in a socket that would have been inconvenient to use if I didn’t have one this long.Second, the charge was fast and it lasted so that was great.Third, the chargers just feel good, you can feel the quality of the product and I like that.Fourth, they came in this sweet travel sack that my husband now uses to carry his camera lenses in.Definitely recommend this product and will keep them saved in my list for future orders!

We had a monitor in which we could barely see our child on the monitor at night. It was really grainy and the only way we would be able to see her would be to put a light on in the room. Well that was too bright for her, so we were kind of fed up with the monitor. I did some research online for another one, and came across the DXR-8 model. I can say this monitor has put us at ease at night, due to the great picture of the night cam. We both had smiles on our faces as we went to sleep the first night with this new monitor/camera. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

We have a small home so I thought we could get by with just a standard audio monitor. Now that our child is older and mobile it gives us peace of mind to be able to see and hear her clearly after we put her down for the night. The night vision is great and has very little, if any, lag. The cord attached to the camera is long. Our child sleeps in our bedroom and it is notoriously cooler than the rest of the house. We love having the temperature feature as we move into winter. It will be great for when we transition her to her own room later too. Highly recommend!

I can't help but notice that a lot of the lower reviews are about how "PC" and "political" and "liberal" it is and how they "couldn't even get through a few minutes" with little to no details about what they actually had a problem with. I'm not saying that it's anywhere near implausible that a lot of people didn't like the movie, but let's face it... those specific reviews are from people who didn't want a movie with an all-black cast to do well. The movie has nothing to do with politics or political correctness. It was pretty much a throwback to the original movie, so I find it hard to believe that any of the people making those specific comments saw the original either. It's a very standard trope of tradition vs progress.There are a lot of repeated jokes and a lot of callbacks to the previous movie. But it's fun, and that's what matters. It's a comedy, and a nice follow-up to what happened to the characters in the future. Some people are reviewing this as though it was supposed to be an absolute cinematic masterpiece, instead of viewing it through a more relaxed comedic lens. Also keep in mind that the original is from the 80s, and it's extremely difficult to capture that same tone and humor in a movie for today. Conventions for movies are much different now, and you'll probably watch this thinking of how "cheesy" it is, but clearly it had to in some way mirror the humor from a different age or it would have looked too far removed from the original.In other words, watch this if you want to have a fun time revisiting the old characters not taking themselves too seriously!
