not made for larger phones
this did not work out for me, i have a Samsung Galaxy s10+ and i had to remove the lightweight case from my phone for it to be light enough to work in landscape mode, even then one of the motors on the stabilizer got hot from constantly struggling to keep it level. I didn't want to have to remove my case when using it and i only do landscape mode (doing video in portrait mode is what people do who have no intention of watching it on a TV made since the turn of the century ;-). I had to send it back, I'll likely forgo the thought of a stabilizer for my phone and just go the go pro route or something like that.

il pacco è arrivato puntuale, ben imballato. Al suo interno tutti gli accessori in dotazione, imballati. La camera è buona, facile da usare, di piccole dimensioni. Ho provato a usarla sia con modalità video che foto, la qualità è buona e trasferirle sul pc o sul telefono è facile (seguire istruzioni ma è facile!). Le piccole dimensioni sono pratiche e comode . La batteria è duratura (ce ne sono due in dotazione, da comprare separato c'è la micro sd e gli accessori in caso di necessità). Consiglio l'acquisto per il buon rapporto qualità-prezzo

Dont expect too much and you'll be pleasantly surp
I didn't buy this thinking I was getting a name brand video recorder but I can tell you the video is better than my video camcorder I took with me to Jamaica recently. Its got better stability and the night vision is an extra feature thats really nice. You will need a decent sized memory card if you're going to be recording at the highest settings so I'd recommend buying one at the same time if you dont have already. Luckily I have enough equipment that I had a few laying around. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a basic camera that handles videos/audio well.Side note: The attached boom mic is a nice touch and gives it a more professional feel.

Very impressive, really good value
Thought I needed an expensive GoPro and read some good reviews on the Akaso 7. For the value, I decided to take the chance and I am impressed. The camera is very well-built, and feels great to operate. Hard to believe they can fit all those features in such a small package, at this low price. I have run it for most of the day in various ways and it works exactly as advertised. The voice control works well, as does the remote with a small screen on it. The image stabilization is great, as I will be using it to record my off-road rock-crawler, and in my tests today, it really worked. The accessories that come with it allow it to be mounted all different ways. Video quality is way better than expected for the price, or at any price. Overall, highly recommended.

Seems the perfect gift for our kiddos
We got this for my kids for Christmas. We took everything out of the box so we could ensure that everything was there and working before we wrapped it up and put it under the tree. The battery (there are TWO!!) was already charged so I could play around right away. I couldn't take any pictures because it does require an SD card that I haven't purchased yet. But the quality was good. The picture looked good, it seems pretty easy to get around. My only issue is the manual. It didn't tell me how to charge the battery or how to even get the camera out of the waterproof case. I had to find a youtube video to tell me how. But so far so good.

Amaziing performance for less than half the compet

This camera came with all the accessories I would need. Mounts allowed me to experiment with Helmet, windshield and finally motorcycle rearview mirror (least vibration). Love the picture quality and I have used it with and without the enclosure. Behind the windshield kept it protected to all but the elements. My final installation is inside the enclosure and I have been trhough various rainstorms with only the raindrops messing with the video capture. My friend got the most recent Hero GoPro and we compare images and video and cannot tell the difference. This is a hit and I have used it every weekend for the past 6 months, including a 4 day, 1600 mile "social distancing with friends on two wheels" trip with great footage from AZ, NM and CO. - this is a "must buy!"

Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo
Cercavo un action cam che costasse poco e che rendesse molto, e questa è stata la scelta migliore che potessi fare!La camera arriva con un sacco di accessori molto utili.Ci sono varie tipologie di immagine, partendo da 4k30fps arrivando anche a 120fps!(in 720, ma va piu che bene)Per usarla serve una scheda sd che andrà comprata a parte(con un 6€ si porta a casa una scheda da 32gb) e il salvataggio e lo spostamento dei dati è semplicissimo!Un’ottima action cam a un prezzo accessibilissimo per chiunque!Consigliata

Reliable and as adver
So wishing not to provide a typical review. Let’s be real and clear about the unit. It does exactly what it should. And once you spend a short amount of time learning what the custom setting do(I’m a newbie) the world opens up and you can accomplish almost anything you hope to. Battery life is short as many note BUT there are a few things you can do that almost takes away that concern completely! And extra batteries are inexpensive. Watch a few videos on YouTube and learn both the strings (easy even for a dunce like me) and also on setting to extend battery life. It is not a camera designed for nighttime use BUT it works great at night if you learn a few settings. So, I’m really happy with this after a couple months of good use.

Debate between GoPro and this? Not anymore.
I love it. The thing runs laps around the GoPro. I really wanted an action cam for my trip and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a GoPro but didn't want to cheap out and get one that wouldn't work.The Yi 4k does everything a GoPro can do and more! The constant firmware/software updates make me understand how dedicated this company is to making the product better. GoPro often took weeks to iron out problems.The only complaint I have is about the lack of gear included in the main package. Battery, charger and camera. That's it. You'll need to spend another $20-30 to get everything GoPro's get, but hey.. it still ends up being cheaper so no big deal.
